Fox Sport tonight at 10.30pm Replay Richmond V Collingwood.
Will watch the fight in the 2nd quarter and then switch over to Bikini Beach, LOL
-
Only worth watching the first 10 mins until the ump paid the dodgy free to Medhurst against Thursty and then good night nurse :P.

Not blaming the umps. Just saying the whole side mentally went to pieces after that free after getting 7 points in front.

Jack, when you are watching the fight, have a look and see what Joel Bowden does, then tell me if he is a 'true tiger'

He is a true Tiger. You've got to remember that he is the president of the AFLPA he can't get involved in a fracas like that. It'd be as bad as March jumping the boundary line and joining the fray.

You have to be joking, what a pathetic excuse for not sticking up for your teammate

When you cross that white line my friend..................
Of course some players are fathers too. What examples would they be setting for their kids hey. We would not want them to learn from that despite all the domestic issues they see firsthand at home.
Yet on April 25 each year we celebrate Anzac Day. It's a day etched into the psyche of every Australian to commemorate all that have fallen in wars our great country has fought in. It celebrates mateship, courage bravery and facing adversity for a cause that you believe in. If the AFL can create an annual blockbuster on this day to cash in then I ask you again would not so much a true tiger but should a teammate fly the flag in a time like that. J Bowden is weak as pee and the AFLPA answer is a cop out. Bravery is not measured in taking a game saving mark or rushing a behid it is also measured on how you face adversity and fly your flag in times of need and desperation and lamentably like his whole career he was found searching for the ball and the easy way out as the ball was not in play when his mate had four of the enemy on him.
AFLPA professional answer for Joel but lamentably a cop out.
A true tiger would have taken a hit for his mate. What a story and badge of honour in your last game getting hit for flying the flag. Unfortunantely Joel is for Joel on the footy field and that type of attitude epitomises Richmond. Selfish Weak and Psysically Inept. Describes us since 1982. No Not a True Tiger from me.

The umpire actually called for the ball to bounce it
You could see what Joel was thinking as with everyone fighting, he was the only one going tio contest it, until some imbecile teamm went up against him and spoiled him :banghead

Loved the fights :thumbsup Kingy is my new Hero. Pity l wont see him till next season. his gawn they will make a example out of him. the umpires were clearly against him
No Excuse for not fighting when your on the field your there to protect your team-mates, That includes Joel Bowden.
Kingy dont need his team-mates to help him he will take on anyone. :thumbsup Cloke is done & dusted 2 weeks for sure but Eddie will get him off you watch.
umpires clearly dont watch the game these days, too far away from play.

Yeah, being seen in a good light as the pres of the AFLPA is more important than sticking up for your mates.
It's a funny old world these days ::)

Incidentally, the term is "masochists", not sadists.

remember the windy hill brawl, and many others the tigers were in?
one KB never ever got involved, infact he used to go and hide behind goal posts lol
but no one ever questions him, yet joel is seen as a pussy
many double standards around here

Looking back I don't blame Joel.
Last game, no one wants to finish with a black eye or in a stretcher.
Nathan Brown stood there and waited for the ball to be thrown up, which should be worse since he's playing for his career. If Browny was in throwing guys off i think that woudl have signalled taht his head is fit for another year, instead he elected to try and get a kick possibly a cheap one with his opposition in a fight.
If it was the last 30 seconds of the game, Joel got it out ball was thrown up and we won the ball behind the Pies back and scored, Joel would be a hero. Just looks a bit bad in the circumstances.
You can also over analyze things, but if it wasn't Joels last year he'd b hung out for dry for it. I've seen many local footy brawls where the oldest and biggest player stands back and watches.

As Tucker said when you cross that white line .......
A die for your team mentality is badly needed at Punt Road
