Frawley looks West
16 November 2004 Herald Sun
Michael Stevens
FORMER Richmond coach Danny Frawley is the latest former AFL coach interviewed by Fremantle for a coaching and player mentoring role.
Peter Schwab (Hawthorn), Peter Rohde (Western Bulldogs) and Gary Ayres (Adelaide) rejected approaches.
Fremantle chief executive Cameron Schwab said last night Frawley was in Perth yesterday to determine if he was interested enough in the role to move his family across.
"We've earmarked the role for a person who has been involved at the senior level," Schwab said.

They can't be serious! Lucky them :lol
Odds on Freo to "win" the wooden spoon within 5 years if this happens :rollin
Hey PRR...Spud's coming your way ;)

Give Spud a break!
'He's been good on the track' 'he is still up for coaching' 'while there's a mathamatical posibility' that he can get a job.
Poor old Freeo they are more of a disaster than us
(At least we gave him the Heev Ho way to go ;D)
Let us hope we never ever ever contract another Pies reserve grader, if I was at all positive about McGough I am truely sorry. :-X

Happy to avoid anyone from Collingwood after our run ins with them recruiting wise the past 20 years :banghead - Walsh, Annear(?), King :( plus all the $$$ we threw away in a trade war that almost finished us off as a footy club :banghead. The only time we've done well against them was when Tony Shaw and surprise surprise Spud were in charge at Pieland and we offloaded Brad Smith and Robert Schaeffer.
