Who gets the job on Barry Hall?
Hall pretty much owned us when at the Swans as we had no one big and solid enough to counter him :-\
-
luke Mcguane, end of story
-
Thursfield.
Bazza is predominantly a lead up CHF and Thursty is our best spoiler.
-
Agreed Thursty for mine as well. Has played well on him in the past. I remember Will's first game was against Sydney at the G in 2005 and he kept him quiet including a match saving spoil late as the Swans came home late. I think he kept him goalless that day.

Who gives a flying f at this point in time ffs stop bringing these threads up so early, it's starting to look like we are the media!!!!!!!!!!!
You just love looking for arguments and talking down to people.
Its a good thread and an obviously important matchup this week if we are to be competitive.
For mine, Thursty first crack.

I think WAT, he might shut him up!!!

Hall will be a decoy
they will bang it over his head from several players

Thursty for mine. Has done OK on him in the past worth a shot again

Shane Edwards!
joking :P
Luke McGuane or Kelvin Moore, Will Thursfield is too weak.
:)
-
I certainly hope not.... but Barry might have three opponents by quarter time.
Plan A....Thursty
Plan B....Luke Mcguane
Plan C...Throw young Post to the wolves.
Plan D....As Y&B suggested-Lets see what "WAT" can do. :cheers
-
put our best tackler on him...Nahas :thumbsup
-
what about Jacko as a tag on hall ? he can match for strength .. or maby dusty lol he seemed to knock jacko out with a bump :thumbsup
-
I don't think it will really matter. Hall is going to get perfect delivery lace out in front of his lead which will give the defender no chance to spoil. We need someone (a very brave someone) to fill the hole in front of him to block his runs and hopefully be able to pick off any passes to him.
-
wish we could sign mike tyson up for a game lol even Shrek would have to defer :bow
I can feel it coming in the air tonight.....hold on ...wait this is my favorite bit.... :help
-
thursfield on hall and i would've said raines on aka but i guess hardwick is gonna put probley edwards on him :help
-
I have thought long and hard on this question....my solution is....
a second shooter on the grassy knoll... :shh
-
Love to see Post have a small stint on him for the experience and maybe see if Bazza can draw a bit of mongrel out of the young fella. Post is bulking up nicely and if he gets half a chance today to see a strong leading forward I think that is what this season is all about.

Maybe a job for Tuck, I know he is not in the side but apparently he is not the smartest dude going around and might have been up to the challenge
