some good ins there, would like to see taylor playing and rance should keep his spot

At least 4 changes as Moore, Thursty, Jacko and Whitey are straight into the starting 18.

With two tall backmen coming in will Rance keep his spot?

lets hope Nahas never plays seniors again. I would say Farmer will be out on form. Dimma has seen the light i think.

Good ins lets see what you got Taylor and good to see Tambling not in again.

One good game at Coburg aint going to win a downhill skier an immediate recall.

Nahas will be very lucky if his contract saves him. His deficiencies (too small) have been exposed this year.

He should but so should Webberley
I agree Suffered. That would then leave Farmer to be dropped.

They might Jack but I would be very disappointed if they did.  I reckon he is a real keeper - shows plenty already and has the potential/scope to improve a fair bit next season.

A bit stiff if he is. I didn't think his first half was too bad. He ent missing in the 2nd half but hey there were plenty of his teammates who didn't show up at all.

I can only see Rance getting dropped due to team balance with both Moore and Thursty back in defence.

I agree about Nahas. Too easily falls over when there's a contest (lacks size). A cardinal sin in footy.

Rance got really cheap possesions last week, A certain poster will disagree on this, but he has to go.
I cant see who else they can drop

Good Outs, Ins it doesnt matter, what counts is that Hardwick has worked out who cant play and we are being given hints almost weekly now. Hardwick will get rid of alot again at years end, and thats how it should be. DUDS=OUT!

why drop Post after one match?

drop Edwards and Farmer for Taylor and Hicks.

give Rance another match.

Tambling should be a midfielder, leave him at Coburg untill Round 20.

like Morton's match against Collingwood as that skillful, strong marking, attacking wingman.

Will say this

I never seen a  worse performance from an AFL player last week what Post produced.
Rance was on the end of so many uncontested possesions last week it wasnt even funny
Agree with Morton, but he needs to back up again this week.
Edwards was one of the reasons we have been competitive over the past 8 weeks.
As for Hicks, the horse races are at Caulfield this weeknd. :banghead

The only reason I can see Hicks coming in is if he is a direct swap for Nahas as a small forward. That would mean five changes though which is a lot and it affects the stability of the side as everyone will need to re-adjust to all the changes in personnel. It would be back to the first 6 rounds of the season where we also had many changes to the side each and every week trying to find a combo that works.

Adelaide has recalled rookie Chris Schmidt and first-year player Jack Gunston for the match at the MCG. Schmidt will replace the suspended Graham Johncock, while Gunston comes in at the expense of Tony Armstrong, who has been omitted. Rising Star Phil Davis misses out again.

No real surprises or giving more young guys a go. Rance a fraction stiff as he wasn't our worst last week. Looks like we are going all out to win.

I wonder if there'll be a late to bring in another small given it's forecasted to be just 12 degrees and rain on Sunday.

mate, i hate losing with a passion.
Major issue with most Richmond supporters that we fall in love with players who just arent up to it.
We hold on to them for too long in the hope they will improve. You cant improve if you have no ability.
Nahas is a perfect example, he used to fall over all the time when he played at Port Melbourne, 3 years later he still falls over :banghead
Rance, just aint going to make.

I dont disagree with your list at all! However, there have been a few players;notably  King, Graham and Edwards, who are just finding their feet now! Some players need longer, or at least need a good team, to show their wares!
Rance being dropped shows what our plans are for him! Not sure we will delist Sloppy, why would we send him in for an op? Are we obligated to or are we hanging on to him? Same question for the others sent in for ops!

I still laugh at some supporters wanted to get rid of a new draftee after two matches, talk about armchair experts.

He may not make it or he may but at least he will go through the development stage and I have confidence that Hardwick will get the most out of draftees

The only comments I made about Rance was that his game last week showed that he'd been working on his deficiencies at VFL level
I understand that he still has work to do on other areas of his game, but he is a kpp in his 3rd year, many don't even get to debut by this stage in his career.
With Moore & Thursfield returning to the squad he was always going to pushed out of the side, or made to play in another position that he hadn't been training for.

I have no interest in seeing Richmond fail, however I also have no interest in just writing off kids before they've properly developed. Just because a player has deficiencies doesn't mean they can't be overcome or at least reduced due to hard work and training, all players have weaknesses, even GAJ, Judd & Franklin. Rance shows a great work ethic, has admitted his deficiencies on public television and showed improvement last week in many of those areas. He kept his feet well, got plenty of the ball, disposed of it well and even contested better in the air, the only blemish was his dropped sitter of a mark, which he still collected and disposed of it without turning it over.

To give up on him now is a little ridiculous. If the right trade came up then I wouldn't complain if we moved him on, but it would want to be for a pick similar to what we took him with or a good young player.

Actually I don't believe I missed the point at all. Your post reads like we hold to players to long because of the supporters views,(Your not the only one to do this either), which is just silliness that distracts from the point you were trying to make.

You make some pretty outrageous statements at times Jack, yet want to call people idiots when they disagree with you. If you had a 100% strike rate with your opinions and then perhaps this may be justified, but no one is 100% right all the time, not even you!

Rance is well ahead of Dea from what I saw. Dea didnt have a clue in his first 2 games. Hopefully he improves, Rance, I would keep because I think he would be good to have around a footy club, he's a young kid, always does his best, doesnt cause trouble, got dropped after getting 20 odd possessions and went and got 2nd best on ground in the VFL today. Rance you keep hopefully he comes good over the next 12 months.

Who is coming out then? I assume it is due to the weather conditions that are forecast?

And I've been back in interstate for 3 days and spent 5 minutes reading this thread and found this

Shows me you see only what you ant to see to suit your purpose  ;D

Is that not a response....  ::)

Good luck to hicks hopes he plays well but I reckon he's too small.

Would have loved to see Gourdis play. Apparently he's super quick, tall and athletic. Looks like the tigers are grooming him as a key defender.

Good luck to the jockey anyway.

dea has a solid build for a young boy and is a baby. Worth a few seasons at least, hardwick must see something in him to draft him as of of our higher picks in the last draft.

Rance is still a young for s tall

Rance is well ahead of Dea from what I saw. Dea didnt have a clue in his first 2 games. Hopefully he improves, Rance, I would keep because I think he would be good to have around a footy club, he's a young kid, always does his best, doesnt cause trouble, got dropped after getting 20 odd possessions and went and got 2nd best on ground in the VFL today. Rance you keep hopefully he comes good over the next 12 months.

So after all that fuss about me not wanting to discuss Rance being dropped you don't even come up with a response?
What stats can you make up this time? Or are you just going to call me an internet nuffer who knows nothing about football for a change?

I know it's too much for you to respond to points on their merits, so I don't exactly expect much, just surprised there was nothing at all.

In case you haven't noticed, I haven't made any comment on who was our best today and don't intend to
Also I go to plenty of games, but I didn't today, never said that I did and have made no comment to even suggest I did

I know you don't like me because I call you out on your bullsh!t. Hopefully one day you will argue my points on its merits rather than change the subject to something else because you have nothing to say that isn't more bullsh!t. You are like a compulsive liar, except its more a compulsive bullsh!t artist.

I haven't been found out on anything, I have explained my comments from last week yet you won't respond despite giving me a hard time for not responding.
As I said, just becasuse I didn't go today, doesn't mean I don't go to games
Funny how you say it's pointless discussing anything with idiots when you are posting childish bullsh!t on here demanding a response from my on Rance. So make up your mind, do you want my comment or not, because on one hand you're demanding them, on the other hand you say it's pointless discussing it with me.

From what I can see, I am providing opinions with evidence to back up why I have come to such conclusions and all you do is proclaim how amazing you are and avoid any response when you have been proven wrong.

Just delete your account again and get it over with you wanker.
