Title: RFC Mildura schedule next week

Richmond will be in Mildura for next week's AFL Community Camp between February 1-4.

The Tigers will arrive next Tuesday morning for the camp which will involve training, an intra-club match as well the Subway Super Clinics for youngsters as well as some community visits.

Richmond players will also visit high schools to talk about risk taking and to try their hand at bowls at the Mildura Bowls Club.

The camp schedule is outlined below:

Tuesday, February 1:

9.30am: Players arrive in Mildura.

12.30pm: Autograph signing in Mall (in front of Subway)

4.30pm: Civic Reception at Mildura South Clubrooms

5.30pm: Team training at Sarah Oval, 12th St, Mildura.

Wednesday, February 2:

8.00am: Join players and coaches for a 'Breakfast with the Stars' in the Mildura Mall.

10.30am: Subway Super Clinic for Primary Schools - No. 1 and No 3 Ovals, 12th St, Mildura.

2.00pm: Irymple Secondary College visit (David Rodan, Brent Hartigan, Danny Meyer, Luke McGuane).

7.30pm: Community Forums

Thursday, February 3:

11.00am: RVBA seminar and bowls. Matthew Richardson and Mark Coughlan will get a handle on older driver issues at a seminar that looks at
health, aging and road rules and then will test their skills with members of the bowls club.

4.30pm: Intra-club practice match, Sarah Oval, 12th St, Mildura.

Friday, February 4:

9.55am: Players depart Mildura.

2.00pm: Irymple Secondary College visit (David Rodan, Brent Hartigan, Danny Meyer, Luke McGuane).


Obviously someone at Irymple SC offended the RFC to get that big name lineup. :cheers

I think they send the big guns to the primary kids as their "heroes" while the RFC youngsters do the high schools cause they're just a year or 3 older so the school kids relate to them more than a 30 year old Cambo or Richo.
