Only caught the last 20 mins or so of club corner but Greg Miller was on. He spoke a little bit about a couple of our Coburg guys.
Pattison - a Brendon Lade type. Move between forward, CHF and ruck.
Polo - attack and ability to win the footy is good but needs to work on his disposal under pressure. Miller said Polo will eventually get there in time.
Archibald - similar to Polo. No point getting the ball then stuffing up.
Moore - has had two injury interupted pre-seasons so has missed opportunities to bulk up. Likewise reckons he'll be right.
Thursfield - done everything asked of him so far.
Foley - Miller asked by a caller whether Foley would be close to promotion. Said that's a match committee decision.
In terms of drafting and recruiting, he thinks last year will turn out to be our last chance to get a selection of early picks and pick up in one draft a Deledio, Tambling, Meyer and Pattison. Seemed to agree with a caller that we could finish midtable so it'll be up to the Club to be smarter and more selective. Jackson, Hartigan and Raines in the 2003 draft were evidence of finding good players with later picks. Mentioned a need for a couple more KPP to join Pattison and Schulz. 3 years away from where the Saints are at.

Greg Miller joined the Sport 927 breakfast team this morning to chat about the Tigers’ 7th position on the ladder with 3 wins and 2 losses and the match against Port Adelaide this weekend at Telstra Dome.

- Miller's in Adelaide for the U17 SA Country championships. Schulz came through this way so doing some spotting.
- Spoke about Hyde.
- Possibly Meyer or Tambling to come in.
- Port will be difficult opponents as we haven't played well against them in the past. Tredrea the key. Still to decide whether Hall or Gas will take him.
