Who knows what time we will be getting the teams on Ch 7 news tonight, they are doing an extended bulletin from Canberra. Seems there's been something going on up there the last 24 hours
Will search around
Personally only expecting "INS" tonight seeing we're playing Sunday ;D

The final Richmond team for Round 14 will be announced at 4.30pm on Friday, June 28.

I know, have you seen his missus

Can we safely assume that RFC has stuffed Ivans injury up,by not adopting a more intrusive means of therapy pre season.

We have seriously mismanaged the Ruck component of our list management. It must be our highest priority to grab a seasoned, skilled Ruckmen at this years drafts/trades period.
-
Big O will do the job!!
-
As everyone else already mentioned. Thank god they finally chose to give Maric an opportunity to rest his groin. I hope to dear god he isn't gone beyond repair. But in other news, THE BISCUIT IS IN!

Cant see Arnott playing, obviously Stephenson will come in for Maric and they need another tall to replace Astbury so I recon Batch will come in, can't see it any other way.

Unless Vlastuin is still struggling with his injury from last week, then the biscuit might just get a run.

I know it is a Sunday game but Lukey McGuane is there, could he go in for Chappy if he doesn't get up???
-
Would like to see Arnott in, might get a gig based on the match ups...
-

Thought the same thing GPT. Seems to be a couple of 'specific' ins that might be insurance or a portent of changes to come:
Stephenson for Maric is a given.
Batchelor or Dea for Astbury.
McGuane for Chaplin?
Arnot for Vlastuin?
-
Looks like our midfield will have to rove to the opposition ruck again like they did during the West Coast game. The Big O just needs to create a neutral contest and we will win the contested ball. Batchelor would get the nod over Dea I would imagine. Flossy would play with a missing leg if he could away with it so Arnot would only play if the medico's want to be ultra cautious.
I'm starting to get concerned about the game now... :-\
-
Just realised Lenny isn't playing. He'll probably head off to the GWS game so that next time he meets a 6 year old Richmond fan he can say I can't remember the last time I saw us lose to Richmond. stuffwit. :whistle
-
And that six year old can say " thats ok no-one can remember when the saints last won a grand final, mr del santos"

McGuane should never play in defence ever again. That's why he was moved forward.
I wonder if we are resting Maric because we may know McEvoy may not play after copping concussion last week?
-
He's going to play (McEvoy) I'm quite sure. Could always play McGuane forward and hope he kicks his cameo 1-3 goals. Put Vickery on Kosi and see what happens. He should be tall/quick/strong enough for that. Rance for Riewoldt of course.
All this if Chaplin doesn't play of course, otherwise business as usual. But with no Gilbert, Fisher or Simpkin Jack should hopefully have a day out and McGuanr could snag a couple.
Thankfully no Maister. Batchelor just isn't tall enough unfortunately...
-
McGuane has still kicked more goals this year than Vickery and from less games.

All the other options are taller than Maister (bar Roo who Batch would never play on anyway) :help

:lol :thumbsup

I am very surprised Hayes isn't playing. A positive for us. Although at the end of his career still a very good player. McEvoy is one of the best ruckmen going around. He was outstanding against us last time. Big O needs to play like he did against Port. Agree will have to adopt tactics that we used against Eagles. Batchelor for Astbury and Big O for Maric. If Chaplin doesn't pull up they will bring in McGuane. If Vlas out will bring in Arnot

We have seriously mismanaged the Ruck component of our list management. It must be our highest priority to grab a seasoned, skilled Ruckmen at this years drafts/trades period.
To do so, that ruckman must be able to hold down a spot as a forward, and it would also probably mean offloading vickery

they would be crazy to offload a guy that is just coming into his prime in the next year or two.
-
I sure hope he comes into his prime. Has gona backwards the last two years.
Would like to see him put on 5kg in the not-too-distant future.
-
Looks like Batchelor fro Astbury and the big O for Maric, just heard on SEN...

Panic Room: Richmond's Nick Vlastuin could be a late withdrawal against St Kilda

WHISPERS
The eyes of the SuperCoach world are on Richmond teenager Nick Vlastuin this weekend.
Vlastuin has played just eight matches, but carries the hopes of more than 150,000 players in Australia's biggest fantasy sports game.
The bad news is he is a big chance to take a rest while the Tigers face St Kilda at the MCG on Sunday.
Vlastuin hurt his shin when another player fell on it against the Dogs last weekend and spent the last 16min of the match on the bench nursing the injury. Coach Damien Hardwick said he suffered bruising and our spies tell us he was was limping around the club during the week.
He was named in the side last night but it wouldn't be a surprise if the coaching staff had a change of heart and decided it's not a bad time for the youngster to have a rest to keep him fresh for the run home - and hopefully finals.
The Tigers are adamant another defender, Troy Chaplin, will play despite being carried off last week with a knee injury.

jack will kick 15-20

Batch had better prove himself in this game, very lucky to get a game for mine, slow player and his skills have been average.
If Vlastuin goes out, bring in Arnott!

Give him a break he needs a new whipping boy
-
Saints have a heap of no names plus players getting over the year..
Stranger things have happened though
-
Should be a good game against Sandringham.
-
Need to offer some games to Mc.Arnotts and McFrijole over the next month
Hopefully some of our pea hearts will reinforce their reputation to force the issue

Do you actually watch any games????? Have a look at how Batch has gone, not up to the standard, he may be better than Astbury be he is still a way off the standard required.
Calling it how it is!!

According to the Supercoach Paige (note the spelling) Vlaustuin will be late withdrawl and Arnott will debut

Jock Reynolds had this up earlier today on Facebook too. Said that Flossy didn't train. Fantasy footy has the inside goss :lol
-
Arnott should just play as a tagger. Kicking is poor, just get him to shut one of their running players out of the game. That should be his go IMHO.
-
While the Tigers reported that Chaplin had escaped knee damage, the former Port Adelaide backman didn't attempt to join any running or ball work at the fans' day at the Tigers headquarters yesterday.
He remained near the boundary line with Jake King and Reece Conca and later signed autographs on the boundary fence with the rest of the group.
Rebounding defender Bacher Houli wasn't at the signing session after he jogged from the oval midway through the training session.
Houli seemed to have a slight limp and he didn't return to the light preparations for the game against the Saints.

Please dont risk any slightly injured players... :pray :pray
We have many tough games coming up, nought, gold coast, freo, hawks, swans
Need everyone fighting fit :thumbsup
-
on the other hand you wouldn't want to drop this game due to too many and unnecessary changes
-
Surprised Hayes and Siposs not playing. Given this weekend's results it is a critical game. Need to take advantage of Carlton's loss and WCE's loss. We have a tough run coming up can't afford to drop any games. Batchelor needs to play a chop out role.
-
Glad Schneider not playing. He played well against us last time
-
so has the official team been posted.I'm lost as to who is in and who is out
-
Arnot in, tigga out. Chaplin and houli to take their place as selected.
