Agreed, these are the games we should have no major problems with. There are no 'easy' games against the Giants anymore, but a good side like we are (notice I didn't say 'great') should win it by 3-5 goals without too many problems. Great sides should smack the Giants by 10+ goals at the moment, but I'll be happy to see us come out with a good win. More of the same good form from us will be more than enough. Looking forward to Rance Vs Jezza, should be a cracker! Rance to towel up another fancied forward ... ;D

We will win easyNot the way we're playing. Our forward efficiency in terms of scoring goals is ordinary today aside from Jack. Dumb kicks inside 50 straight to Giant defenders.

We have kicked to contests where we are outnumbered so many times it's just unbelievablely stupidWe're outnumbered because we're so slow in moving the ball forward. In the last couple of minutes we had about 10 kicks going back and forth across half-back and wing. Surprise surprise the Giants had everyone behind the ball and then hit us on the counter to an open forward line for them. Just dumb dumb dumb! It's wet weather footy - get it forward long and quickly before the opposition can get numbers back and have ground level players front and square to crumb.

Anyone know why McIntosh has been the sub the last 2 weeks. We need this kids grunt and hardness today.Because he had been really average since his first game. Lucky to be not in the two's IMO. The fact we don't have any depth saved him.

They are killing us just by playing direct smarter footy in the wet. No special or tactical.

Extra defender is killing us and ours seems to be non existent. Not sure if they are covering lazy defenders or just getting in the wrong position but something needed to be done. Will probably happen half way through the 4th but it's probably too late now as it is

We won ugly! Its not a great look, but its a lot better than an ugly loss! Tuck the 4 points under our arm & get on with next week ... :gotigersSpot on. Thankfully, our shocking set shot goalkicking and overall general dumbness of trying to play dry weather footy in the wet for 3/4ers didn't cost us in the end.

Has virtually zero impact although I am sure Hardwick will focus on his tackle in the last which will justify his selection next week.

As for Newman, after today's "effort" I am not sure how anyone can justify his place in the side ahead of others. He was terrible. Part from one tackle in the final qtr he was shocking

We still get killed in the air too often and we still can't tackle for shyte.
We stll carry too many unskilled hacks....even though one of them, Batchelor, saved our arse in the dying minutes....just like he did at ANZ last year...

After watching yesterdays game I am more convinced than ever that all our issues are mental..We have shown on more than one occasion that not only can we match it with the best ,but beat the best.
Yet against so called lesser teams we struggle.This is a huge issue because in my opinion mastering this will take us from striving to arriving

Well we had to play a half of football to beat Sydney.
Today we had to play a quarter of football to beat GWS.
Next week we will need to play 15mins of good football to beat Carlton.
