Bruce Nankervis for mine. Half a dozen games for the Colas puts him in front of Hammers gifted games RFC.

For now it is Hampson
Hopefully by round 1 it will be Nankervis
-
What rot - it's never been Hamspud....
-
I voted for Ian Nankervis.
Always thought he was better than Bruce.

Nank the Tank

Nackerbags.

I'm not sold on Nankervis as a ruckman, he has a bit of mungral about hit but I'm not sure he's tall enough to compete week in week out with the big guys.
His rucking in his highlights was very underwhelming for mine.
I do think he'll make a great forward though, is mobile and loves to tackle.
Only time will tell...

Yes, I reckon he get played in a similar role to Vickery but with the effort added.

ruckmen rarely make great fwds. Personally dont think hes a fwd at all

I'm only going off the highlights package but he looks more of a forward than a ruck to me.
At 198cm he is more of a forward size than a ruckman as well IMO.
-
Put him in the ruck and let him throw his body around.
From his highlights, thats what he does best and the mids will appreciate a big body in there that isnt hunched over with its hand on its kness straight after the ruck contest.
The number 1 thing you want from a ruckman is second efforts.

OMFG I agree. He is a ruckman he is never going to be nic naitanui but he could be a shane mumford.
He has done nothing to date to suggest he will become a decent kpf.

There needs to be more options in the poll. Please name all players.

Yep look at Mumford who is a highly regarded ruckman (199cm - the same as Nankervis). People just love his efforts and you don't hear people saying he's too short
Edit: Just saw Claw mentioned Mumford too

exactly
but something tells me the club will try and turn him into a fulltime forward like vickery and waste what could be further developed into a very competitive ruckman
