NORTH Ballarat has been booted out of the Victorian Football League.
AFL Victoria this afternoon announced it had stripped the regional club of its licence over governance issues.
The club has been beset by board problems in the past two years, leading to the departure of key personnel including legendary coach Gerard FitzGerald, chief executive Mark Patterson and football manager Mark Richards.
But AFL Victoria said it hoped the Roosters could take stock and re-emerge in the state league in 2019.
