Great in round 1
Struggled for fitness for 2/3s of the seaon
Bit his final 8 weeks were excellent
Showed why we got him
Will be better next season with a full pre-season
-
Meatballs smashed it
Absolutely huge pick up and worth the pick we gave up
-
what they said ^^
last 7-8 weeks was great and gave us a glimpse into how valuable he'll be fully fit. Key part of our success
-
Huge in the G/F
-
Everything came together in the last 2 months. Which the coach promised, this one was truly a triumph for the conditioning staff and player.
A pivot for us through the midfield - stood up in the GF when it mattered
-
Also think he was a key reason Caddy joined us, which worked out pretty well as well.
-
Can’t wait to see him after a proper preseason.
-
Stood up in finals. Already better than Deledio. :clapping
-
Most of my thoughts have already been said.
He might be messy by foot at times but my word he is elite with his hands. Sorry Miles, love your work but Dion is a class above.
-
Most on here had already made their minds up by round 10... boy did he prove valuable.
-
He was outstanding in the Final series. Stood up when it most counted in the Grand Final. Fantastic pick up.
-
did he have a better year than Vlastuin? most people are voting no.
not sure thats the case
-
Vlastuin was consistently solid all year whereas Prestia was putrid for at least two-thirds of it - dont know how anyone can't be sure as to who had the better season overall....

vlastuin wasnt solid all year. prestia's bad games werent thay bad and his good games were better than Vlas

To cap it off, I thought Vlastuin's final series was better than Prestia's.
Vlas was huge at critical times, and his marking was a standout. He was a key part of the best defensive unit in the league, which was what ultimately won us the flag IMO.

this website gave Prestia 57 votes to 31 (vlas) for 2017.
wonder who polled where in the b&f?
-
I love them both. They are both premiership heroes.
That's all that matters. :gotigers
-
Was about a 4, but stepped it up at the business end of the season so I gave 8.
-
Pox as.
Had a great finals series Tho.

i love them both too, but credit where its due Prestia had a better year than Vlastuin by any measure.
- Prestia finished top 10 in the clubs best and fairest
- Prestia got more Brownlow votes
- Prestia got almost twice as many votes on this website.
you peoples who gave Vlastuin 8's and 9's then Prestia 6's and 7's are arse about. shame on you's

Facts dont care about your feelings. Shame on you >:(

Vlas was garbage at the start of the year, much like Dion (excluding round 1). Vlas went out injured and came back strong, about the same time Prestia showed some decent form too. It's a battle of injury vs. playing poo

Finally some reason :clapping
-
Don't lump me with him, never said who had the better year :shh. But to say Vlas was "consistently solid all year" is outrageous
-
Just so you know YR that wasn't a ninja edit.....image link died, couldn't be arsed findng another one so I just deleted the post.... :whistle
-
...and upon reflection, I forgot about Vlastuin's early matches stinking it up in the midfield as well as his injury, but nevertheless, on balance he still had a comfortably better year than Prestia so in sum: YR is right but Dooks is still wrong...horribly, horribly wrong....
