start well and end well.
aside from not meeting losers like the blues and gc twice it seems very easy

2 trips to Adelaide, 1 to Perth and one up North.
I think they try and make every team travel to every corner once and one of the interstates 2ce, so Adelaide's as good a result for the double up.
We're the premiers, anywhere, anytime, anyhow!

also 1 to Spotless

Round 2 a huge test. We can obviously beat them but will be interesting to see how we come out vs how they come out.
-
5 day break going from night to afternoon is short (R5 -R6) and a 6 day break coming back from Perth also tough (R9 - R10).
As it was proven this year there are no easy games with the difference from Top to 14th being so small that any team can win on any day. Therefore I don't see it as a easy or a hard draw, just have to bring it each week.
Play like we did in the finals and we should be hard to beat, dont put in that effort and we lose. Injuries will also play a big part as we were very lucky to have so few "Key" players down over the year.

good draw. back to back coming up.

AFL Fixture 2018 - Friday night prime time slots: Richmond to shine bright, Hawthorn snubbed

RICHMOND’S fairytale finish to the 2017 AFL season has been rewarded via the league’s fixture for 2018, with the Tigers to have more prime time than any AFL club.
The Tigers have been given the highest number of prime time games for the 2018 season, scheduled in for five Friday night games and three Thursday night clashes.
Add to that the now traditional Anzac Eve clash against Melbourne and Richmond will be receiving ample ley airtime next year.
It’s a dramatic climb for the Tigers, who didn’t feature in a single Friday night game in 2017 — until they made the finals.
Richmond will also host a rare Thursday night game in Melbourne against Sydney at Etihad Stadium — the club’s only home game at Etihad for the year.
PRIME TIME LADDERS
Thursday night games
3 — Richmond
2 — Adelaide, Geelong, Sydney Swans
1 — Carlton, Port Adelaide, Western Bulldogs, West Coast Eagles, Essendon
0 — Brisbane Lions, Collingwood, Fremantle, Gold Coast Suns, Hawthorn, Melbourne, North Melbourne, GWS Giants, St Kilda

0 — Gold Coast Suns, Brisbane Lions, Fremantle
Overall prime time ladder

Your club's fixture: The final verdict

RICHMOND
PROS: The Tigers are back on the big stage after winning the flag, earning eight Thursday/Friday night games (up from two in 2017). They open the season with six of their first seven games at the MCG, and close with four of their last five on their home ground.
CONS: The only bottom six team Richmond plays twice is Collingwood, arguably the toughest of the group. Essendon and St Kilda are also tough double meetings from the middle six. Rounds 11-17 are difficult, with six straight games against 2017 finalists.
PLAY TWICE: Adelaide, Geelong, Essendon, St Kilda, Collingwood
BYE: Round 14
FIRST FOUR WEEKS: Carlton (h), Adelaide (a), Hawthorn (h), Brisbane Lions (h)
LAST FOUR WEEKS: Geelong (h), Gold Coast (a), Essendon (h), Western Bulldogs (h)
SIX-DAY BREAKS: Seven
ANZAC EVE PENALTY: Included in the Tigers' seven six-day breaks is a five-day turnaround following their Anzac Eve clash against Melbourne. The Tuesday night match will be a historic first.
THEY SAY: TBC
WE SAY: A premiership gets you back on the big stage, and the Tigers will be thrilled with that after being bumped off the Friday night stage altogether on 2017. They have maintained their marquee matches against Melbourne and Essendon and have a fixture that should result in big crowds again. They have fared reasonably will with the double match-ups from the top six, but less so with the middle and bottom brackets. Hosting Sydney at Etihad Stadium will probably frustrate the club, with their fans showing a reluctance to cross to the Docklands venue.

RICHMOND has gone from receiving the second-easiest draw this year to the second-hardest in 2018 in what looms as a major hurdle in its premiership defence.
The Tigers are ranked behind only Fremantle in Champion Data’s draw difficulty ratings while Collingwood’s run has officially been deemed the easiest of the AFL’s 18 clubs.
Richmond faces double-up matches against Adelaide, Geelong, Essendon, St Kilda and Collingwood next season.
This year the Tigers faced Greater Western Sydney, St Kilda, Carlton, Fremantle and Brisbane twice, winning seven of 10 matches against those opponents.
Under the rankings formula, this year’s runner-up Adelaide was deemed the hardest team to play based on its for-and-against points differential of +639 in 2017, while Port Adelaide, Sydney and Geelong are considered the other hardest opponents.
