Who is everybody's tip for the Melbourne Cup today?

My four legged kids have the follwoing in the sweep at work

Almandin
Boom Time
Cismontane

Are they any good?

Almandin won it last year but is carrying more weight this time around.
Boom Time won the Caulfield Cup.
Cismontane (#24) got a spot in the race after sentimental favourite Who Shot the Barman was scratched.

didnt even consider rekindling until a few minutes before.
