Talking Footy was even worse, opened a show with a montage of all their "struggles' going right back to when Bailey was coach then including Bailey & Stynes carking it and the Geelong massacre and finshing with Sunday's win like it they'd finally reached the summit.....(no mention of how the AFL helped them out & effectively rewarded them for tanking after the fake punishment)..they've stuffing done nothing yet....we didn't even get that when we actually made the GF or after we won it and we had nearly 4 decades of "struggles" material they could've used ......spare me.... :facepalm

Send 'em to the VFL...build a grandstand at Gosch's Paddock or better yet just erect a few staffed & catered marquees sponsored by some winery as that's more their style....then they can play their home games there.....let's face it, without their MCC old boys network they would've folded years ago.... :shh

When we beat the same teams we hadn't played anyone yet. After all those hand outs and years of multiple top 10 picks you'd want to be winning a few games. What a pissant club.

The Dees are going to be hoping Lever's knee injury isn't a bad one and he's only jarred it somehow. Would be a big loss for them.

It's an ACL they have confirmed it. Was touted as a backline leader/organiser in pre season so it may be a significant injury loss to them.

You don't want to see any player cop a season ending injury. Yep, it may turn out to be a significant loss for them as they may be forced to move Tom McDonald to defence if they can't find another replacement for Level.
It also shows the folly of the media pumping up teams from week-to-week as premiership favourites in May/June. One serious injury to a key player can alter the outcome of a team's fortunes. Brodie Smith doing his ACL was/is a major loss for the Crows late last season and this year.
