At the right price would be a good get

Agree with this as a change in program could be beneficial. Was told Stengle is a fair chance of joining the Crows so a swap could work. Would like to keep Tyson but he is looking for opportunities.

Sam Edmund from the herald sun running the b.crouch to Richmond story now.
Forgotten Crows star linked with shock Richmond move
By SEN
24 Sep 2018
Herald Sun journalist Sam Edmund has revealed that Richmond could be plotting a shock move for Adelaide midfielder Brad Crouch.
Crouch, 24, had an injury plagued 2018 season, failing to register a single game due to a troublesome groin problem.
“Brad Crouch is another name that keeps coming up in conversation,” Edmund told SEN Breakfast.
“The Adelaide midfielder, injury riddled it must be said, hasn’t played at all this year, but there are whispers around him perhaps being on the move this off-season as well.
“I’ve heard the Tigers might have an interest for Brad Crouch.”
Essendon great Tim Watson says the Tigers have hit the jackpot if they were to secure Crouch on top of the likely arrival of Gold Coast forward Tom Lynch.
"They’re going to land Tom Lynch and if they were to land somebody like Brad Crouch in the off-season as well, they’ve done very well," Watson said.
Crouch, who played a key role in the Crows’ run to last year’s Grand Final, is contracted until the end of 2020.

As it's now hit the mainstream media, I've split this from the general trade rumour discussion into its own thread.
-
Can’t see us making it happen as I sincerely doubt the Crowbots will want to deal with us for 3-4 more years.
Although perhaps seeing us choke worse than they did last year may soften their disdain somewhat.

Tigers reportedly eyeing Adelaide midfielder Brad Crouch but Crows showing no interest
Andrew Capel,
The Advertiser
September 24, 2018 1:16pm
Adelaide midfielder Brad Crouch has been linked with a move to Richmond.
But it is understood the Crows have no intention of entertaining any offers for their midfield ball magnet, who did not play an AFL game this year because of the chronic groin condition osteitis pubis.
While Adelaide on Monday stuck to its policy of not commenting on list management speculation, it is believed it has no knowledge of any move from the Tigers and considers 24-year-old Crouch to be a key part of its future, despite his horror run with injuries.
Crouch has played just 61 games for the Crows since being selected by the club as a 17-year-old access player following a trade with GWS in 2011.
He has two years remaining on a four-year contract he signed with Adelaide late in the 2016 season that ties him to the club until the end of 2020.
That deal was reportedly for $2.2 million over four years.
Reports from Melbourne suggest Richmond, which is almost certain to land star Gold Coast key forward Tom Lynch as a free agent, is eyeing Crouch to beef-up its on-ball brigade after the shock preliminary final loss to Collingwood.
Crouch has been training privately with some of his Crows teammates since the club’s season ended last month.
Born at Beaufort in country Victoria and a product of the North Ballarat under-18s, Crouch said he considered returning to Victoria before he signed his last contract because of his bad injury run and the death of former Crows coach Phil Walsh.
“When things weren’t going so well (with injury) and obviously the death of Phil there were some things that have been very hard to deal with,’’ he said at the time.
“So there’s definitely been times when I have thought I might be better off back home in Victoria.
“Mum and dad are at home in Ballarat so when things weren’t going so well for me here I thought maybe a change of club could be good but I never really got serious with that.
“We (the Crows) are a really strong club, I’ve got good friendships here, a bond with the playing group and coaches and think there is something special we can achieve.’’
Runner-up for the AFL Rising Star award in 2013, Crouch’s younger brother Matt also is at Adelaide, winning the best and fairest award in 2017 when the Crows lost the grand final to the Tigers.
The grand final was Brad Crouch’s last game for the club.

Good size, good player, and lots of years left in him.
But can he can get on the park? He's missed two whole years of football with foot and groin issues, not to mention previous hammy's and broken leg. Just don't need another injury-prone player...
If he can get out there then I'd be pumped to grab him...

Does he want to leave his brother ??

Does he want to leave his brother ??
Maybe it's a 12 month strategy to get both to Tigerland. Brad now and Matt to join him end of next year.

Have it on good authority that this will happen, came from Jack himself about 6-8 weeks ago

They’ll have to trade for him, which means they’ll have to hand over something good, better than their first rounder IMO.
-
Aren't Essendon tighter than a fishes arse to trade with?

Tigers called Crouch’s manager out of “courtesy”
By SEN
3 Oct 2018
Brad Crouch’s manager has revealed Richmond enquired about the Adelaide midfielder “out of courtesy”.
Crouch was linked to the Tigers, which forced the conversation to occur, but the speculation was quickly watered down.
“They (Richmond) called out of courtesy because his name (Crouch) was linked with them…they didn’t initiate any conversation,” Alex McDonald told SEN Breakfast.
“He is contracted for another couple years. I’ve been in contact with the club (Adelaide), everyone is fine there.
“I think what happens at this time of year as we all know is they are players who have been starved of opportunity, been injured, or there’s a go-home factor.
“Sometimes there is a nice fit, players names pop up from time to time and they get spoken about.
“To the best of my knowledge, Brad is not going anywhere.
“He is really happy over there, lives with his brother, really excited about next year.”
Crouch didn't play a game this season due to injury.
