While the Tigers will relish the big win, they won't be resting on their laurels as they turn their attention to next Saturday's game against Gold Coast.
"(Gold Coast is) starting to really build into some good form," Ferguson said.
"We'll take belief from today, but pretty quickly on Monday, we'll get back to work.
"We'll walk through the doors ready to learn and grow again."
Vice-captain Sarah Hosking is "questionable" for the clash, but skipper Katie Brennan, who missed the first three rounds due to a foot injury, is set to return as part of her management plan for the season.
"We've just got to make sure that we're looking after (Brennan's) best interest in longevity in footy and life, so that there's zero risk for her," Ferguson said.
"But the plan will be that she'll play. She's tracking really well."

A very lazy post.
As richmond members can we enter Lunt Road no question or do we need to buy an AFLW membership or general admin ticket to enter?

Richmond v Gold Coast Preview
Gemma Bastiani

30 September 2022
One of the matches of the round, in the coveted Saturday evening slot, it is a battle of the eighth and ninth placed sides. Both coming off good wins last week, Richmond against premiership favourites Brisbane and Gold Coast against a late surge from Port Adelaide, it will really be a fight of will in the contest. What the Tigers did so well last week was remove Brisbane's opportunity to put together meaningful passages of play, but the Suns have won games with chaotic footy this season so will be up for the challenge. Players like Jac Dupuy and Courtney Jones aren't looking to kick pretty, methodical goals, they will just get the ball on their boot and that means they are dangerous every time the Suns send the ball forward.
Richmond's defensive unit has been its starring line this season, with recruit Eilish Sheerin leading the competition for intercepts it may seem like it is thanks only to her inclusion, but it is in fact the way the group has worked together that makes it so dangerous. They have a determination that means they are just never out of a contest. Maddie Shevlin is in career-best form, Gabby Seymour's work rate from the ruck into the backline to support, Libby Graham's athleticism and Beth Lynch's attack on the ball - and ball carrier - has combined to create something special. This game will boil down to the small opportunities taken. If the Suns can continue to take those chance kicks on goal once in attack and maintain a positive perspective, they will be in with a chance. If the Tigers' backline is as relentless as last week, they will be exceptionally difficult to beat.
Tip: This one will go down to the wire. Richmond by two points.

Richmond vs Gold Coast Preview

30 September 2022
FORM
Richmond comes into a home clash against Gold Coast with all the stars seemingly aligning. Returning to the scene of the upset of the season the Tigers produced last week against Brisbane, Richmond will hope to bring the same intensity and form against a Suns outfit that is yet to win outside of Queensland in Season 7. Overall, Richmond has put its two heartbreaking losses in the opening fortnight behind it to notch up three straight wins and move into the top eight. Gold Coast sit percentage – albeit 48.6 per cent – behind the Tigers in ninth, having won the three games in Queensland against a non-Queensland side.
WHERE IT’S WON
Gold Coast is very good at winning the ball at the stoppages and controlling play from the contest. The Suns are plus-77 in disposals, plus-18 in clearances and plus-51 in contested possessions, as well as plus-10 from centre clearances. That is a huge concern for a Tigers outfit who, despite having a star-studded midfield, have struggled in those areas. The yellow and black are minus-35 in disposals, minutes-18 in clearances, and only plus-six in contested possessions. Richmond is capable of hitting targets inside 50 though, with its plus-15 marks ranked number one in the competition, while plus-13 tackles is also impressive.
TEAM NEWS
Gold Coast will be minus injury replacement player Gabrielle Biedenweg-Webster following a knee injury sustained in the win over Port Adelaide. There was better news for defender Daisy D’Arcy who had a minor ankle sprain early in the Power game, but played out the match and is predicted to be available for selection. Northern Territory forward Ashanti Bush was removed from the injury list and is available for selection. The Tigers have kept tight-lipped about their selection, with captain Katie Brennan a possible to return from a foot injury, while Rebecca Miller (hamstring) could be back, and Stephanie Williams – who hurt her knee last match – is also undergoing a test.
KEY PLAYERS
The Tigers keys will once again be their midfielders, lead by Monique Conti, with Jess Hosking and Ellie McKenzie crucial in winning that contested ball battle. The defence held up really well against the Lions in Miller’s absence, with Maddie Shevlin and Eilish Sheerin enjoying great seasons. Gold Coast have potential when going forward, with Courtney Jones always a threat, and the likes of Alison Drennan, Charlie Rowbottom and Claudia Whitfort cracking in at the coalface.
PREDICTION
The response from Richmond will be the most interesting, because the Tigers cannot afford to undo their fantastic win over the Lions with a loss to the Suns at the Tigers’ home deck. Richmond should win given Gold Coast’s struggles away from home, but the Suns’ strengths do align with the Tigers’ issues so it would not be a complete shock to see Gold Coast cause an upset.

Most exciting thing tonight was seeing Yassir play her best game by far.
Gabbie Seymour did well to nullify the influence of the much taller Suns ruck.
Conti lifted when we were 9 pts down in the 3rd quarter. From that moment the team as a whole lifted their intensity.
Egan played well tonight as our #2 mid.
Lavey's workrate up and down the ground was important.
Our defence stood up again. Awful to see Shevlin go down :( when she has been in good form.

---------------------------------------------------------------------
A LATE Emelia Yassir goal has extended Richmond's unbeaten run to four, as the Tigers came from behind to secure the points in a tough, physical contest against Gold Coast by four points.
In a game of chances few and far between, the Suns looked to be on their way to a third consecutive win as they led for much of the second half, but a fast-thinking Yassir was in the right place at the right time.
After Grace Egan won a free kick inside the Tigers' attacking 50, Yassir took the advantage, breaking from the contest and catching Gold Coast's defence napping to slot home the winner and ensure Richmond would finish the round in the top eight yet again.
Richmond's fourth win of the season means it has bettered its best AFLW win/loss tally with four games to go, as it looks to secure a maiden finals berth in its fourth season in the competition.
An incredible 153 combined tackles were laid, with both teams throwing everything at each other throughout the game, with the ball residing primarily between the arcs at the Swinburne Centre.
Monique Conti (23 disposals, seven tackles) continued her incredible season to date, while Yessir was ferocious, finishing the day with an additional nine tackles and Jess Hosking also added 11 tackles of her own - exemplifying the ferocity of the contest.
Meanwhile, Charlie Rowbottom (24 disposals, eight tackles) was exceptional for the Suns and led the charge from the middle alongside Claudia Whitfort (16 disposals), while Vivien Saad (17 disposals) patrolled things brilliantly in the back half, keeping the Suns' defence sturdy.
It seemed as if a run of three straight Gold Coast goals between the second and third terms would be the difference, but Richmond's relentlessness in the final term put its defence under enormous pressure.
In the end, the territorial dominance (36-20 inside 50s) and directness in possession outweighed the Suns' more measured approach (196-173 disposals), particularly late in the game when Richmond found an extra pep in its step and outran the Suns.
The win came at a cost for the Tigers, as Maddie Shevlin was stretchered from the ground in the last minute of the contest with a leg injury while Jess Hosking failed to finish the game.
Richmond's Kodi Jacques was also reported for a high bump on Gold Coast's Lauren Ahrens in the first term.
Hurdling Howarth
Kalinda Howarth had some game and her highlights stretched beyond just what she could do with the ball at her disposal. In the first term, Kate Dempsey marked the ball as Howarth came charging over to create a contest. However, the Suns forward had to be innovative to avoid a potentially heavy collision, using her incredible athleticism to cleanly hurdle over Dempsey - who luckily ducked her head!
Was it touched?
Richmond needed a goal deep in the third term, and Maddie Shevlin answered the call from down town. But should it have counted? The former Magpie unloaded from outside 50 to kick the Tigers' second goal of the game, with the ball, according to the goal umpire, beating a sea of players without being touched. However, it looked like the ball may have struck the hand of a Suns defender and without the benefit of the goal review system in AFLW, the goal stood.
Up next
Richmond heads across the Nullarbor in search of a fifth straight win when it takes on West Coast on Friday night, while Gold Coast travels to Sydney to face the Swans on Saturday afternoon.
