Title: Winning Percentage
Post by: Bulluss on March 29, 2007, 11:11:52 AM
Interesting to note the in yesterday's Herald Sun they had a footy tipping guide.

It contained some interesting facts about every team

RICHMOND:

from 2002-2006 Richmond's winning percentage from Rd1-9 is 58%, From Rd10-22 it drops away to just 20%.

That is a pretty alarming stat. Lets hope that our graph starts to head back up again  :lol :rollin

The good sides make their move in the second half of the season and we get left behind as we rely on too few to win us games. That stat isn't surprising given consecutive losses of 8, 9 and 14 in Spud's final 3 years  :scream.

Speaking of percentage, that should be a key indicator of improvement for us this year. Even if we don't go forward in terms of actual wins, if our % ends up higher than in 2006 then at least that'll be a sign we didn't get pumped as much when we lost.
