Title: terry wallace and is beloved bulldog fans
Post by: {X} on September 03, 2007, 08:18:50 AM
isnt it funny how since about half way through this yr, and esp the last month, not many bulldog fans are pumping up eade anymore and bagging the crap out of terry

have a feeling things will get very ugly at the kennel next yr !

There list is crumbling
while it was going good it makes Eade look good
its going to be a huge rebuild for them harder than what the Tigers are going through

Stuff the Bling vs. Buddy comparisons, how about the midget Bulldogs overlooking a 6ft 5 Buddy Franklin for another speedy skilful midfielder.

The McDougall debacle highlights this even more. At least they have some bargaining power to go after Fev. Pick 5 and a surplus of speedy skilful midfielders.

There were a few on here who were pretty pro Eade rather than Terry  ::)
Dogs should have made the finals but came a pathetic 13th.
With the way they were travelling last season, mystery as to why they didn't go on with it.

Yes they have gone very quiet  ;D

There was a reason why the Eagles smashed them out of the finals last year but they did nothing about it and just topped up with another aging small in Aker which didn't pay off. They've had a few injuries but the main reason they failed was because their senior players just didn't perform. The only positives were Everitt and Higgins.

The Dogs thought they had a nucleus of a possible premiership side
hence acquisition of guys like McDougall and Akermanis who was more
of a big name recruit to sell memberships than a guy who will win you a flag.
Big mistake you flops 1 flag in 83 season will be 1 flag in 88 season. Eade's bank manager must be very happy when looking at his FAT bank book.
The Dogs are much in the same vein as Essendon all these blokes who are in their top tier retiring and once Brad Johnson pulls the pin the pain will be palpable on the faces of those rabied Doggies supporters as the youth coming through in the last yr or so is not that crash hot. The Dogs are years away and when you take into account their poor list other than a select 5 or 6 then yes things will get nasty at the kennel.
I am sure either Peter Rohde might want his job back or Robert Walls might head a sub commitee of prospective coaches :lol :lol :lol :lol :lol :lol

I still reckon we will look back at our year just gone as a blessing in disguise. If we had of won say 8 to 12 games this year, on the back of not many injuries, we would be overrating our team as well.

As it is there has been no where to hide any shortcomings
