The person who is imposting Ronnie Branton plays around the wings but wouldnt think he had much idea with the ""round ball "" ;)

Hmmm - if I thought Ron (as distinct from Ronnie) would be offended by my nic I would change it. Maybe to Methusalum (as distinct from Methusalus)

I also had a great chat to Ron at the Hafey lunch earlier this year. I only attended because I heard he was going to be there. He was runner up in the Brownlow in 1962.

(My dad told me about him -  ;) )

I think Jackstar is stalking me though  :o

He wants to keep me in the limelight and I'm normally a shy retiring type.

Looking forward to Saturday - how will I recognise you ¿

It's all right, they're used to me by now.

BTW, is anyone going to miss going to the footy for the next 6 months?  I'm hanging out for Saturday - i'm all footyed out and really glad to see the back of it and Danny.

But am also a little bit excited about next year - bring it on quick hey!

I'm looking forward to the trade/draft period to see what we eventually do, so that should feed my footy needs until November/early december. Sad isn't it when that sort of thing takes higher precedence over the actual games  :P. This season has been such a write-off that I'll be glad when it's over. By January I know I'm going to be craving footy again as per usual especially with Wallace now on board.

Aren't we suckers for punishment  ;).
Title: Re: Welcome Ronnie Branton
Post by: WilliamPowell on August 26, 2004, 02:58:00 PM
I get the feeling that with all the changes coming up we are going to be in the news a fair bit. Like MT said , that'll take me through to November.

I am finally going to have a holiday in November so I can go away re-charge the batteries, catch a bit of pre-season training and then it's Xmas, the new year and then the Wizz Fizzer Cup and we are away.

Besides I reckon alot of us have been looking forward to 2005 for months now  ;D

After meeting Ronnie today, i could only see fit to bring this thread back to the top where it belongs. Ronnie could be the reason that Brad Ottens stays in Melbourne at Tigerland ;)

Its up to you Ronnie!!!! ;D

Young Ronnie was seen in attendance at a supporters BBQ yesterday at his best. He was actually ""flossing "" in front of a certain players mother :o
There is no doubts about how naughty ""young Ronnie "" is, he is very naughty.
Ronnie the flosser , good to see you have dropped the tosser tag and taken up flossing Ronnie.
I still cant beleive you would turn up with dental floss in your pocket ! ;)
Title: Re: Welcome Ronnie Branton
Post by: froars on September 20, 2004, 08:32:28 AM
I'm speechless, Ronnie
Now, did a mouthful of string hanging out of ya mouth attract a certain young lady?
I think not.
I understand you've got till next Easter to wrench her off the arm of her current bloke.  I fail to see how Ronnie the Flosser is going to turn her head.
Stay tuned for the next episode of The Young and the Pathetic  ;D

""milestone ""
What's this?

Not his 60th marriage proposal to 60 different women?
Or could it be his 60th new and inventive way to pick up players mums?

Endless possibilities  :help
Title: Re: Welcome Ronnie Branton
Post by: RonBranton on September 20, 2004, 08:39:26 PM
Obviously a case of mistaken identity on all counts.  8)

Ronnie doesn't have any milestones next month - a birthday but alas no milestone  ???

Could Jack have been on something that causes hallucinations - ¿ I've heard about such products.

What sort of a gentleman would "floss" in the presence of a lady ¿
