Has just had an operation to fix a broken bone in his wrist and will be out for 4-6 weeks.
Bad news for Jake and Richmond when he was doing so well.
Can't reveal my source, but I do know the King family so work it out for yourselves.

welcome trent cotchin
bad luck for king, maybe his month or so off will give him time to reflect , so when he comes back will be a better player. he needs to know when to play tight and when to run and carry, lets hope this time off he is procative , watches many tapes on his games and improves with his decision making
all the best to kingy, speedy recovery

Great scoop struggler.
Bad luck for Jake.
Opportunity for someone else.

Unfortunate, but like X said, gives him the opportunity to reflect on his year so far. Apart from the Carlton match and patches here and there hasn't played great footy. Love how he likes to take players on but he needs to know his limit. Polishing his kicking wouldn't got astray either.

That is going to hurt us more than people realize. :help Kingy is now a leader in the backline who leads by example with his attack on the ball and never say die attitude. He never takes a backwards step and lifts the teams workrate with word and deed. We will also miss his run and carry.
I think we will struggle in his absence... :(
Cotchin is not ready so Bowden will get a jumper, to our teams detriment I fear.
Hope Kingy recovers quickly.

Makes Stoke's omission important. Im not sure who they have in terms of goal sneak style small forward other than Byrne and Varcoe, neither of whcih have been travelling very well so we may get a reprieve. Can see Matty White being sacrificed in the backline for a few weeks with someone else coming into the midfield.

The club is officially saying that Kingy does have a slight crack in his wrist but they expect him to be right for the Geelong game.

LOL
A bit of a blow is he misses 4-6 weeks :-\. Kingy makes a mistake now and then but his runs break the lines which is what we need. He's also our first choice as a small defender. In saying that I'd rather he miss and let the wrist heal right rather than carry it through games and struggle because of it like Sugar did with his hand last year. Gutsy by Kingy to play out over half the game last week with it.

l agree with you MT l rather fit players on the ground & Kingy misses out till his fit rather than win a bet
l'm well up in the betting over the years to let some go ;D but its his play we will miss most :thumbsup
