Could be 4 if the Eagles knock off the pies., :shh
With our form there lately, Subiaco is like a 2nd home ground
Bring it on I say, a team needs to get used to travelling anyway, plenty of interstate sides do it every 2nd week and lately have won most of the flags in the last decade
Cousins should prepare for r1 vs carlton not for the game against freo.

Is that the same as the "110%" mentioned in another post? ;)
“He'll be . . . It’ll be, ‘Welcome back, Ben’.”
Who do they have left to rough him up anyway?? Solomon?? LMAOOOOOO With Carr and Johnson gone, Solly is the only hot head nutcase suspension magnet they have left and he has seen better days. On paper they look as soft as a Pascall's.Mixing purple, green, red and white and having to listen their theme song is frightening :chuck :help :yep.
I think they should be worried about what sort of treatment Palmer will get. Put Hislop on him and watch the tears from the Freo fans.
Interesting odds for us given our past history in the NAB Cup, cant remember last time we got past round 1
Must be the Cuz factor (even though he probably wont play against Freo)

Last time we won a pre season game was in 2004 when we beat the Dogs.
Lost to the Saints in the last 8.
We have not won a pre season cup game in TW tenure.
* Clubs will be allowed eight players on the bench, but two of those will be nominated as designated substitutes, with the players they replace unable to return to the field.
Adrian Anderson's proposed rule changes that will be trialed in the NAB Cup...
THE RULE CHANGES FOR POTENTIAL INTRODUCTION IN 2009 PREMIERSHIP SEASON
* A free kick will be awarded for any deliberate rushed behind..solution - wait till last second and handball it onto opposition players face, causing the ball to rebound thru
LMAOO @ The rest of the Cypos dumb wog rule changes

OMG MT, I can't believe I left those two out, lol, :o, even Hislop. Isn't it great to have so many players to choose from that you well I can some how leave out the heart of our club and the match winner in Bowden... ;);D 'cause Richo is ready for the scrapheap :lol.
Possibly no Pavlich for Freo next week but Solomon will play despite still being suspended from H/A games .....http://www.thewest.com.au/default.aspx?MenuID=4&ContentID=123449

I really think Cog's will line up MT, you have said all along that you don't think he will, do you know something we don't??I've got Cogs as a sub. I just think watching him he isn't quite ready for a full game straight off the bat yet. There's plenty of time to build up his gametime so he's right and ready for round 1.
Pitty I am not over there MT, I would have a carton on it that Cog's lines up...... :cheersLucky I don't bet on footy ;D.
"If he does I might give a young player a job on him just to see how he's coping with the real AFL if you know what I mean," Harvey said.

WTF does that mean? LOL at Harvey trying to look intelligent by playing mind games.... ::)
Harvey is just embarrising.Who could forget the hiding he took on the couch last year."If he does I might give a young player a job on him just to see how he's coping with the real AFL if you know what I mean," Harvey said.
:whistle

Got Nahas in my supercoach team. 8)
Don't think he'll be elevated as from the way Terry (or was it Wayne or Jade?) spoke last night Polly may be playing Coburg ressies sooner rather than later.
forecast from Channel 10 for sunday is 31 max so should be still around 28 at 18:30 hope the beers cold :gotigers
Is the game being televised or is it on Foxtel?
Stripes
Could it be because I have Foxtel ??? :help
I want us to win by as much as possible. And of course have no injuries. I think if we take the NAB Cup seriously we could actually win the whole thing. Its been a while since we won anything, and It will be good to get the NAB Cup.
....the last time we went well in the NAB Cup we had a shiit season.....
That's the one!
Specifically I'll just be looking for considerable improvement from a couple of younger prospects.

sounds like we bungled a goal there at the death. We've bungled a few chances whereas freo have made the most of theirs.
Tambling sounds like he is struggling abit, what do you think MT?Yep. Disposal has been ordinary.
Can we interchange umpires? 27 points in 50's :banghead

Yeah those three new Freo recruits in the red were good pickups.
Tambo has been subbed off. Seemed underdone. I wonder if he is still struggling with that groin injury he had before Christmas. Not sure who has come on.
Browny looks our only reliable forward target. Cleve, Mitch and Jack (quieter that qtr) need to step up.
Hislop has been pretty quiet, is he on the ground?Yep.
any strange moves any experimenting? Not really unless you count the Umps wearing freo jumpers. Another slinging tackle paid against us ::)

What radio station is broadcasting the game? Would like to listen in from the UK.
Richo the saving mark inside defensive 50.
Is the movie 'The curious case of Benjamin Button' about Richo? :lol:rollin :thatsgold
Best on Ground, Matthew Richardson
He 's like wine.
Richmond 410 possessionsThe first half was the problem. Far too much nothing handball. We had 60 more possies yet were 4 goals down. After half-time we kicked 9 goals to 3 so our possession count which was more direct fitted our dominance for most of the second half.
Fremantle 276 possessions
We won by 3 points, spot the outpoint :help
Good to win though.
Best on Ground, Matthew Richardson

Tambo got little game time. when he was on he looked ordinary
Nahas kicked a great crumbers goal
Hipslop was quiet
Postie looks like he may be good for us with a bit more game time.
Collins didn't get many opportunities.

Paying $81 still on Centrebet. Check them out or some of the others and get on early
I just put him each way :thumbsup
As I said in the other thread I thought it was a diabolical performance. Richo was sensational. Riewoldt is now coming along very very nicely. Morton & Brown need to kick some goals in each game for us to win. Post looks like he has potential but Hughes is a real worry, Bowden not being able to kick backwards or rush behinds was found out ... there were to many disappointing performances for mine. Anyway we move through to round 2, hopefully we can show some significant improvement. It's only a glorified practice game. We still won playing only half a game after giving them a 4-5 goal start on their own dung heap. It's probably a good sign that we are so critical of a win and of a number of Tigers who were disappointing on the night. The win means confidence and momentum stays up yet the margin might knock some reality into the overblown hype so we don't get cocky. We've also still got Thursty, Cotch, Cuz, Cogs, Connors and Jordie to add to last night's side. Fit in Thomson as well plus trialing Vickery. Pressure from the rest of the list means you underperform then you're out.
i dont know which team your watching but from where i stand we have had poo seasons every year except 1995 and 2001
:rollin @ not 20 play on Fwoy. with ya there son :help

A couple of others well to use Ramps favourite word of the weekend - diabolical ;D

If we were diabolical then St. Kilda, the Bulldogs, Brisbane and West Coast should be demoted to their state competitions.
I saw good signs, Edwards will be a gun. Whitey and Jacko got plenty of the ball, but need to use it better. Graham looks like he'll be at least useful if Simmo gets injured. Nahas is going to play round 1, he's exactly what we need. Polo showed some good, but some bad.
Newman is everything Bowden should be, this is why Bowden has never been captain. Newman is reliable and hard working. Bowden continues to butcher the ball as a veteran.
The one real negative for me was Tambling. That play early on when he grabbed it and took an eternity and was tackled was very frustrating. Now with our depth, he can't be gifted games and must earn them.
I really can't make my mind up about Hughes.. not sure if he really want's to play because he doesn't look like it.
Look if it wasnt for me the words farcical and diabolical would have been taken out of the english language, Im just doing my bit for the literature of the planet ;DKB this morning agreed with you Ramps. He said the first half was "unwatchable" because of all the handball - "just kick the bloody thing".
Richo is God
stuffen ****sucking ,Dog umpies !!!!!!! :banghead :banghead :banghead
How many 9 pointers did they bring inside 50 for the freo fools.??:banghead
Talk about being in awe of the home state and it's support.
These guys need to start having sex with women.
Richo is God,
Jacko was good - people need to get off his case.
Bowden was embarrassing.
Embarrassing because he gets a game moreso than how sh it he is
Morton is great and will work well with Cuzzy.
Edwards is smart and a great kick.
White - is there a faster runner in the comp?
blah blah.....
Contact between Fremantle's Antoni Grover and Richmond's Dean Polo from the third quarter of Sunday's game was assessed.
It was the view of the panel that Grover contested the ball in a marking contest, with the aim to spoil the ball. Grover made contact with the ball in the first instance, before following through and making contact with Polo. The Panel deemed the action to be a legitimate spoil and no further action was required.

I don't know why everyone bags Gus and says how he will never make it, I thought his tap work was excellent. I really focused on watching him and I thought he actually tapped the ball to our midfielders more than Simmo did.
Last night's game confirmed that finals are no certainty.Give me a break, Round 1 of the NAB Cup means jack poo
you're kidding me. Grover had eyes for the man and not the ball, he was no where near the "marking contest"
And they wonder why people are like this :banghead and think the system is screwed
Also i was looking at the stats on the AFL site but one thing it is missing is game time, i know Tambling was taken off and interchanged with Post but what about Shultz and some of the others that have low stats, is there a better site to get this information? The Herald-Sun usually includes gametime in their stats in the hardcopy paper version but not the online version. Maybe someone here who still has Monday's Herald-Sun could post gametimes.
Does anyone know if a team has kicked 5 super goals in a game and lost before?I don't believe so mat. I think 5 supergoals is the record.
