After receiving this with the message: Am I going for back to back spoons this year lol, I thought I'd start a new thread and ask if anyone is interested in playing again this year.

I'm not sure if the Footy Rocks site is going, but have sent a message to the bloke who runs it and hopefully they'll have another competition this year.
After last year with everyone sucking up to the owner of this site by gracefully letting him win it last season lol, I think we better give him a reality check and shove those spoons where they belong ;D

Once your registered, all I have to do is just give them everyone's nicks and they'll do it.
But I've emailed them and haven't had a return email yet, so don't know what's happening.

Yeah, it must be a work think because the pop up box didn't work but it does here.
Yep, I'm getting the wrong vibes too - I'll do one myself if I have to. Just post your teams on here and we work out a scoring system.

Moi, I think the footyrocks may be now up and running for 2009 but it doesn't list the OER league.

This is your current team for round 1 of season 2009.
Selections for this round are closed. Selections normally open Thursday night at around 10pm and close at 7:30pm Friday when the first game of the round starts.

Unfortunately, I don't have much time to contact them, MT, with work and stuff
I sent two messages and never got a reply, so I don't know what more I can do.
I will send another one now and hope they respond in time.
If everyone can put their teams in like normal and hopefully it will sort itself out.

I could only put Richmond or Carlton players in, after I save it only had Richmond players and half my team was missing as well.

I have received a response about our league and I have set it up from round 2. Here is what they said. If anyone else would like to join us, please say so ASAP and I will ask them to include you as well.

Due to work commitments we were not able to get Footy Rocks ready for round 1 this year. We have some leagues set up but most are starting round 2 now. We are finally able to get the site set up properly this week. If you would like then you are welcome to start round 2 as well.
