C'mon Mat chin up.
I go to the SCG every year for our annual pumping, even started dragging the young fella for the last three years. He can't understand why I go to watch them every year when we always get beat, I tell him tough and to get used to it ;D .

Stick a g-string on, have a few beers and if we're losing do a bolt across the Subiaco ground. Make it worthwhile.
If you get caught, do a vulcan greeting to the cameras so we know it's you. :lol

Not sure how respectful the Sydney crowds are Chuck but Docker fans are animals.....I will never forget one train ride home after a tiger loss a few years ago....very painful.
I love to fly the flag but perhaps this time I will dress "incognito".

True the Sydney supporters are lame and tame, they would have nothing on the SA and WA ferals supporters of their inferior teams.

Visiting Tigers have Harvey worried
Justin Chadwick
May 29, 2009 - 1:24PM
Fremantle coach Mark Harvey is worried Saturday night's clash with Richmond at Subiaco Oval could play into the Tigers' hands because the AFL match is in Perth.
The Tigers are a club under siege following their disastrous 1-8 start to the season, with coach Terry Wallace expected to depart within the next couple of weeks.
But Harvey believed Richmond were a more dangerous prospect outside Melbourne, which has become a pressure-cooker environment for the struggling side.
"It's an opportunity for the teams that are under scrutiny to get out of Melbourne and come over here and play and not have that scrutiny," Harvey said.
"All of a sudden the weight's off their shoulders.
"That's always an interesting mindset that you look at.
"I think that helps them."
Richmond have an excellent recent record at Subiaco Oval, beating both West Coast and Fremantle there last season by a combined 141 points.
The Tigers also beat the Dockers in Perth during the pre-season but Harvey was adamant Richmond's good record at the venue would count for little on Saturday night.
"I think they probably have got us when ... we haven't had our full capacity and full contingent to pick from," he said.
"I don't think they've got it over us, I just think they've got the confidence of winning over here, which we need to take away from them."
The match will be former Eagle Ben Cousins' first at the venue since round 22, 2007, when he gathered 25 possessions and booted two goals to help West Coast to a thrilling eight-point win over Essendon.
Cousins, who has notched just three games for his new club after suffering a hamstring injury in round one and then a fractured hand in round eight, was named on the bench.
Will Thursfield and Jack Riewoldt were also recalled.
West Australian Mark Coughlan and Daniel Connors were dumped, while Andrew Raines will miss with a knee injury.
Fremantle made three changes, including Andrew Foster, Josh Head and Greg Broughton to replace Roger Hayden (broken leg) and omitted duo Ryan Murphy and Clayton Hinkley.
Dockers veteran and former Bomber Dean Solomon, who will notch his 200th game, also expressed concern about facing a backs-to-the-wall Richmond outfit.
"When the pressure's on the best place to be is on the football field because you are away from it all, you can just express all your frustrations out on the field and just play good footy," Solomon said.
"I see them coming out of Melbourne, getting out of the Melbourne spotlight and coming across to the west and I see them as a dangerous side."

Possibly... certainly looks familiar :thumbsup
-
A reminder for our Perth-based OERites and those flying over for the Freo game that if they get to Subiaco early for the curtain-rasier they'll be able to watch the WA vs SA U18 championships match. Any reports on the potential draftees running around (Kane Lucas for instance) would be most welcomed :).
-
and you also get to cheer off Wallat in his last game ;D
-
Andy Maher proving what a tool he is again calling us a pathetic football club ::). I guess when you finally win as many games as you lose and beat a side openly tanking it's party time given Carlton's past 8 years :sleep.
Good on Dave Norman lol. He hasn't missed a game since round 3, 1972 :o. Almost as good as Moi's record ;).
-
No late changes. Sides as selected.

Well to be fair MT, he is an expert in pathetic - it has largely been his approach when peddling a career in the media....
-
The game is a sell out and being shown live in Perth thanks to Cuz lol. Freo even copped some boos as they ran out.
-
Well to be fair MT, he is an expert in pathetic - it has largely been his approach when peddling a career in the media....
Too true Y&B.
-
It's going to be a long night if Simmo can't run with Sandilands in the first two minutes :P.
0 - 6
-
Reckon the boys will do it for Terry tonight.
-
Patto marks the turnover and over to Newy for a Goal :gotigers
6 - 6
-
Lids off with a hand injury. Cuz on.
-
A couple of soft efforts so far. The ball lands front and square and Pavlich allowed to waltz in and snap a goal.
We're really falling down up forward but that's no surprise with our lack of talls.
Cuzzzzzzy :gotigers. Up your Freo :rollin
12 - 18
-
Amazing what happends when you kick long and direct. Point Moore.
14 - 19
-
Should have been a free to Jack but Foley roves Sandilands tap for a goal :gotigers
20 - 19
-
Another good coast to coast long and direct play. Jack Goal :gotigers. Cotch is playing great.
26 - 20
-
Should have been a free to Jack but Foley roves Sandilands tap for a goal :gotigers
20 - 19
Im getting that familiar feeling where my hopes will be raised only to be left heartbroken ;D
-
How was that not holding the ball to Cotch ::) :banghead
Morton misses. Got to close to the man on the mark :scream.
27 - 26
-
It gives me the poos watching Mitch spinning the ball in hands right up until he kicks it :( What are we going to do about that big lanky prike!
-
Oppostion goals from our missed sitters and dumb turnovers. The story of our year :scream
27 - 38
-
Quarter time

Hitouts 9 - 12
Possies 90 - 91
Tackles 14 - 19
-
What are we going to do about that big lanky prike!
Not leave the Freo goal side at centre bounces open for Sandilands to tap in :help.
Our disposal has been dreadful. Missing targets 20m away by foot and handballing behind players so they have to stop :banghead.
-
Geez we are a dumb side. Tucky's lazy high bomb down the line and Simmo playing on when he can't run ::).
-
Morton long short for a point. Actually was good play once we got it clear.
29 - 40
-
Enjoy your vacation Hill ::). Polo okay although he has a bloody nose.
-
Jack nice kick and goal :gotigers
36 - 41
-
Patto miss from another set shot ::)
37 - 41
-
White running into an open goal and misses :banghead. Yep it's all Wallace's fault ::)
38 - 41
-
Whitey's done his hammy :-\
-
It would be nice if we could hit a target by foot especially in our forward line :banghead. Geez we're the worst side in the comp by a mile when it comes to doing the basics :help We're losing but at least we're taking some Dockers with us.
-
Half-time
Richmond 4.3 5.8-38
Fremantle 6.2 8.6-54
Goals: Riewoldt 2, Cousins, Newman, Foley
-
Tambling's disposal has been shocking.
Apologies for quoting myself, but sure there has been lots of skill errors, but Tamblings are always so costly! :banghead
Bad kicks back into the corridor and we're exposed!!
-
simmonds and whitey arent good enough amongst a few others. simmo cannot be given another game! :thumbsup
-
Im frustrated! What s the go with Cuz flicking the bird at the camera? :banghead

cotch looks so promising, classy and clever but not enough game time yet
-
poo, could have pulled away with the way we dominated the second quarter. C'mon tiges big second half and please be right next week Gus.
Good to see Cotch back on show.
-
TigerTime needs to eat his words, but I bet the stubborn prick won't. Deledio has been everywhere all night and is class personified, every time he gets the ball he delivers a perfect pass to a team mate. 16 disposals til half time even after missing part of the first quarter with a dislocated finger.
McGuane's attack on the ball, run through the midfield and attempt to create something has been great, good disposal as well.
Tambling has got plenty of the ball, disposal has been good too from what I've seen, I don't agree with the critics from the past few posts. That turnover towards half time was Bowden's fault for standing still waiting for the ball to come to him rather than attacking the ball like the Freo player who picked off the pass.
Riewoldt has come back with confidece from his performances at Coburg. If he backs up with a similar performance in the 2nd half then that's the level he needs to make his standard for the rest of the year.
Cotchin looks FAR less rusty than the past couple of weeks, I was starting to think he'd been brought back too soon.
I liked White's attack on the ball, his speed was breaking the lines and shame he didn't kick that goal he should have. He's out for the next month with a hammy now so I guess those who don't rate him will be happy for a while.
So far you'd have to say Brown's papers are almost stamped now as are Simmonds and hopefully Bowden also. They are our senior players and have done absolutely NOTHING so far.
Bowden - 6 disposals 3 marks 0 tackles
Simmonds - 5 disposals 2 marks 0 tackles
Brown - 5 disposals 1 mark 0 tackles
-
Yep sabartooth Simmo is gawn thanks to his knee. He just can't get out of a jog anymore.
Woeful game. You can tell it's 14th vs 15th. Both sides making fundamental skill errors but Freo are more accurate in front of goal and that's the difference. Same as last week we let ourselves down even when we eventually have a good passage of play by not finishing it on the scoreboard. We should be in front based on general play but we are just a dumb and poor skilled side :(.
Im frustrated! What s the go with Cuz flicking the bird at the camera? :banghead
One sugar thanks :P
You can guarantee it will be back page news now :-\
-
Awesome long goal Lids :clapping
45 - 53
-
fire up lids ! :thumbsup
-
Lids and Polo great through the corridor. Browny goal (first time I've noticed him)
51 - 53
-
Deledio goal was a beautiful kick. He's by far our best player and is carrying half the team. If he's not careful he'll end up with busted shoulders like Judd.
-
If Simmo gets murdered overnight, it was me!PS im only joking
-
Simmo is having another shocker.
Thursty doing a top job on McPharlin btw in his first game back.
Lids brilliant again. Polo another top effort on HB. browny puts us in front :gotigers
57 - 53
-
nahassssss :gotigers
63 - 54
-
Oh no, my hopes are rising again!
-
Browny off with a knee problem. Both sides down to 20.
Lids is BOG by a mile. Should have been a free to Jack whacked in the head on the lead ::).
-
go away simmo come back gus
-
LOL Lids slung and still kicks it 50m accurately. Tuck mark and goal :gotigers
69 - 54
-
Lids a ripper centre clearance before
Then plays on from 50, kicks to the top of the square while tackled and Tuck marks and goals
ELITE!!!
-
I would now like to share some of my Lids love with Tambo & Cotchin for that awesome goal
-
Good stuff by Blingers. Newy to Nahas and Cotch shows his class for a goal :gotigers
75 - 54
-
McGuane with his first ever goal
A beautiful kick from 50 on a 45 degree angle, he's playing very well
-
Lukeyyyyyyyyyy lol :gotigers
81 - 54
-
:gotigers
cotch looks so promising, classy and clever but not enough game time yet
-
Keep it away from Simmo please.
Morton anotehr :gotigers. Just running them off their legs.
87 - 54
8 straight this qtr
-
I'd just like to point out our best players for the game so far are
Deledio
Foley
Tambling
Tuck
Nahas
Collins
Cotchin
Riewoldt
McGuane
With the exception of Tuck (who's not exactly old), they're ALL kids
-
Blingers BOG, Cotch is great and Jack, well i hope he has turned the corner
-
polo's best game for a long time and collins playing well
-
Yep we'll be okay if we add more quality to the above. There's not enough. Apart from Jack and Luke they are all smalls too. We need a quality spine which we don't have.
Three quick goals to freo keeps them it in ::). Switching off again :banghead
-
3 quick goals to Freo, very poor form Richmond
I can't see us losing though as Freo have no one on the bench left due to injuries. If we were to lose then it would be our worst of the year because of that.
-
3/4-time
Richmond 4.3 5.9 13.9-87
Fremantle 6.2 8.5 11.6-72
Goals: Riewoldt 2, Browny 2, Cousins, Newman, Foley, Deledio, Nahas, Tuck, Cotchin, McGuane, Morton

Blingerssssssssssss :gotigers
Nice quick give by Browny.
-
How good was that?
-
Bloody Petts. Point.
94 - 72
-
How good was that?
As good as Blingers run to set up the winning goal against Brissie last year.
Bloody Tarrant. 94 - 78
-
Another goal to the Dockers. There's little defensive pressure in this game by both sides.
Here we go back into dumb footy :help
94 - 85
-
help
-
Haselby another goal
Wow Just Wow
-
Get rid of all these senior duds except Cuz. Petts anotehr mistake in the centre.
94 - 91
-
Simmo kicking across goal to a contest :banghead.
Tuck another lazy long high bomb
Where's the leadership?
5 straight to Freo in 10 minutes. It's the Essendon game all over again ::).
94 - 93
-
Arghhhhhh Axel :scream
Finally Collo shows some skills out there. Morton miss :P
95 - 93

Lids :bow :gotigers
101 - 93
-
Deledio you star
Class personified
Just get the ball to him
-
Simmo with a nice mark and goal
Shame it's been the only thing he's done all night
-
Lids, Collo and Polo are my top 3 if we win.
Simmo goal. Hooray!
107 - 93
First time this year above 100 points
-
Freo goal when it should have been a mark to us inside 50 but we stuffed it up. Was that Jack going to ground?
107 - 99
-
And another ::)
107 - 105
-
Freo goal when it should have been a mark to us inside 50 but we stuffed it up. Was that Jack going to ground?
Yep it was Jack, he was looking at the umpire for the free rather than getting up to chase his opponent which makes it even worse
Freo another goal, down to 2 points the margin with DeBoer marking inside 50 and lining up to take the lead
..... point, lucky 1 point margin
-
No one wants to win this
107 - 106
-
Freo with the lead
How embarrassing
-
Simmo tap to Lids again out of the centre to Browny ... miss
108 - 112
-
Deledio with a Judd line centre clearance with a perfect pass to Brown who missed for a point, sums our playing list up really
-
Point
109 - 112
-
Morton played on again :wallywink and goals :gotigers
115 - 112
-
Cotchin comes on, instantly gets a couple of touches and with a perfect pass to Morton who marks, plays on and snaps a goal to take back the lead
-
Wow, we only just got that one
Tried our hardest to lose it
-
ROLLIN we won :rollin
-
we seem to have 1 good quarter every week since the geelong game, then the opposition runs over us. lucky freo's not good enough. is it 4 points we needed
-
LOL at Morton playing on again but this time getting the winning goal.
Squares it up with the Port adelaide game
-
Final score
Richmond 4.3 5.9 13.9 17.13-115
Fremantle 6.2 8.5 11.6 17.10-112
Goals: Riewoldt 2, Browny 2, Deledio 2, Morton 2, Cousins, Tambling, Newman, Foley, Nahas, Tuck, Cotchin, McGuane, Simmonds

Yeh right, I bet that he only thinks Lids played a good game because he bagged him out. :wallywink
-
ABC WA radio John Annear named 3: Tambling
2: Jackson
1: Delidio
Gave mention to cousins
-

I agree it is unlikely but Channel 10 just gave Lids BOG and said it was his 2nd for the year so hopefully he gives the TV to someone else.
He was a class above tonight
-
LOL at Morton playing on again but this time getting the winning goal.
Squares it up with the Port adelaide game
Morton said he's allowed to within 30m of goal ;)

Enjoyed the game. Heart in mouth stuff, really does make you wonder what the season would look like had we held our nerve against Port, Sydney and even Lions.
Oh well, I'll take a top 3 pick in this year's draft, lets hope whoever we pick is about 6ft 70 and can mark, kick straight and run like the wind. After watching tonight, it sure would help the team.
-
would have strung him up myself in Kings Park (thats a park in central Perth for those over east) if he'd have missed but well done Mitch and the boys :clapping
Subiaco has been good to us lately
-
should always kick like that.
stuff everyone.

pee of you wankers
i give credit where and when its due and dont when its not
celedio, well done, he finally worked it out for a whole game he was fantastic and worked his arse off. thats what we wanna see all th etime so hats off to lids
foley was crap again , he still cant use the ball and makes th ewrong choices
tambling had a nervous start but was best on ground, he and polo were the ones who kick started us and rebounded brilliantly, and cousins was also very important as well as jackson . cotchin just oozes class and collins is developing nicely. gotta pat mguane on the back too, he has become our best defender
its not my problem that i identify deledios faults and you dont but tonight should be his bench mark, i have always said he had the talent but not the work ethic, tnight he showed both and i reckon having tambling cuz and jackson playing well around him is helping atm
jackson and mguane will be neck and neck in our b and f atm
great gutsy win in this current climate esp at subi where the umpires just do not pay all th efrees they should the cheating bastards

That's funny, he's BOG and you say that needs to be his standard every week? Geez, you don't ask much.
Not only that but you choose to rip into another player because your favourite whipping post proved your a fool.
Foley was very good last night, always running to create options, taking the game on, some dashing runs out of the middle again, and had 28 disposals at 86% efficiency. That efficiency rating for an inside midfielder is up there with the best. I know it's been a problem for him this year, but last night he was very good.
-
efficiency stats possessions bla bla bla, decison making and quality of possesions are what count
mguane had less possession but was a better player, so was collins and polo, all less possesions that foley but much better
moron, you are the fool
-
Ok so I have just sobered up, great win for the boys and they sung the song with gusto....... wish I was there.... work.... :banghead

Yep great game by Axel, was also tagged quiet heavily too and scored a goal.
Cant see how anyone could say he had a crap game (apart from TigerTosser that is)
-
I think I can speak on behalf of all the Perth based OERites that it doesn't get much better than victory over the local teams.
We are an easy target for the local media who love to slag us so it deflects attention away from the fortunes of WCE & Freo.
Cant wait to listen to 6pr on Monday.

Good on ya! Mate, you would be frustrated to hear that some people over this way still feel the win was pathetic and only over Freo! ???
-
Would of thought we won the flag when the siren went in this house, at least for the first 30 seconds or so.
No apologies and not sorry for being so passionate!
Any logic aside I allways want to win, just the way I am :gotigers
