England are 6 down for 193 and still 66 runs behind. No rain around either.

Bang bang bang! Poms 9 down.

Anderson now whacked in the head on the side of the grill by Cummins.

One wicket away from the Ashes.

As much as we'll most likely win this Ashes series 5-0, Smith being a runs machine at the minute is covering a few holes in our top order. Bancroft is still iffy as an opening partner to Warner while Khawaja continues to fail to post a big innings at 3.

Aussies all out for 327

Some really poor shot selection by a number of Aussie batsmen

Cummins off crook with a stomach bug.

Certainly missing Starc

Poms 2/132

Off to the cricket tomorrow for day 3  :clapping

Eng 6/318 at the midpoint of day 3.

Smith at square leg just put down a hard hit pull shot by Cook.

Eng 6/360 at Tea.

Another chance missed when a catchable ball flew between Paine and Smith at first slip. Paine had to go for it.

Idiotic tactics against Broad have effectively put us out of the match....,

Yep. No Starc and the pitch isn't as fast as Perth to try to bounce them out. Add dropping/missing a number of chances and we only have ourselves to blame.

I was at the MCG today

Just on that catch, i actually thought Smith should have gone. At first slip Smith was standing almost in line with Paine. If Smith had of been standing in the traditional position for 1st slip, doubt very much we would have had the confusion

Thought Smith as captain had a shocker today. Defensive fields, no dare in trying to get wickets, basically tried nothing, the non sensical short pitched bowling to the tail

Dio is spot on the tatics against Broad cost us, they were stupid and that's being kind

England 491

Aussies 2/86

Up to Warner and Smith (and more rain) to save us.
