Round 9 - RFC -v- Port Adelaide

(1/2) > >>

WilliamPowell:
How hard is this ???

Do any of us really want to do this ???

3 - Joel Bowden - 40+ possessions deserves some credit
2 - Kane Johnson - at least he tried
1 - Tim Fleming - at least he attacks

Felt sorry for Richo - absolutely no way he can be expected to kick goals with delivery like that >:(

Also (because I am a bit peeved at the moment):

THE GOLDEN TURNUP:
Mark Chaffey for his efforts in the 1st quarter when he gave away 3 free kicks in our forward 50 in the first 20 minutes of said 1st quarters coupled with his 2 outstanding clangers which resulted in 3 of Port's first 4 goals - a tremendouse performance

 :-[ :-\ :o

mightytiges:
3. Bowden - 43 possession, 2 goals and about the only bloke out there who was able to regularly find a teammate and hit him on the chest.

Hard to find votes after Joel

2. AK
1. Hall

Given the ball spent alot of time in the Port's forward line, I thought our tall backs competed well under the circumstances. Port should have won by 20 goals tonight.

Some of our midfielders got 20+ possies but most of these were from chipping the footy out wide on the boundary line. Geez that wins you games  ::).

froars:
3 - Bowden
2 - Johnson
1 - Campbell - actually couldn't think of a third one - just chucked cambo in so i didn't muck up the voting system lol

JohnF:
3 - Bowden - Great job racking it up and kicked a couple of nice goals as well. But something is wrong when a bloke gets that much of the ball and we still go down by 13 goals.

2 - Fleming - Got the points on the night against Peter Burgoyne. Worried him out of it by the end. Disposal still sheit but makes up for it with the pressure he puts on the opposition around him.

1 - Campbell - Was our best together with Bowden before he was rested. It's sad seeing him be a shadow of his former self though.

Also Ok:

Nathan Brown - Was pretty good despite being quiet in patches.
Kane Johnson - Turned the ball over time and again in the first half but came on well at the finish.
Ray Hall - Giving his all despite his lack of ability. Did as well as could be expected on Tredrea. But Oh god, please, somebody teach him how to kick. I'm not asking for a drop punt, but 30+ metres would be nice.

Tiger Spirit:
3. Joel Bowden - Guess I couldn't ignore him this week.
2. Kane Johnson
1. Wayne Campbell
