Hird said he was surprised Richmond had dropped ruckman Angus Graham from its side.

Hird said the emerging Tiger onball division posed a huge challenge, one Essendon must beat to be a legitimate top side.

"Richmond has got an excellent midfield. It moves the ball really well and has great talent, so losing Jobe and Heath (Hocking) this week isn't ideal," Hird said.

Maybe if Hird likes Graham so much we can do a deal.  :birthday

Leaving soon, closing shops early, cant wait to see my beloved Tigers in front of 80,000. I even tipped then, gone for the double happyness pick.

Where the hell do you live fluffy. There's still 6 or so hours to go.

The match won't happen anyway. Didn't you hear it's the end of the world @ 6. Got to prepare for the rapture.  :thumbsup

Yep nice day, warmest in Melb for about a month, just a tad breezy.

Wouldn't be surprised by an 80-85k crowd.

Leaving at 6pm to get there early. Pizzas at 5.30, so I've got a couple of hours to kill.

Might go hang a Larry Bird, then rub one out and have a Kip.....

We've won our first opening quarter for the season! Browne going well! Sick of commentators saying how Bombers are missing watson and the other bloke (mental blank!), maybe it is Browne good effort!

Lloyd is driving me up the wall he is the most biased commentator. He only says good things about bomber players he doesn't add anything to the coverage of the game.
