Songwriter, pianist and singer for so long I always believed she was the glue that held that band and its egos together. Why? Because she didn't have an ego.
As a kid it felt she had a low profile compared to the other band members even though she wrote or co-wrote many of their hit songs. The media would mostly interview Nicks, Fleetwood or Buckingham.

The legendary and much-loved Australian entertainer Barry Humphries has died aged 89.

Humphries, who was at least as well-known as Dame Edna Everage and the other iconic characters he created as he was as himself, passed away on Saturday.

Sir Les Patterson was my favourite. I was only watching him a few days ago.

The quickest wit in the business. He was a true genius.

Tina had a strong connection to Australia as her comeback in the 80s was helped by an Aussie, Roger Davies. She also did the hugely successful "Simply the Best" campaign for Rugby League in the early 90s.

the face of the best marketing campaigns for a sporting competition ever

the "simple the best" promo campaign for the NRL was outstanding.

But more than that a great example of courage and survival of domestic abuse

Parkinson took risks allowing the guests to be the show. Especially when Robin Williams and Billy Connolly were on it. Two classic moments from yesteryear below:

Franco Cozzo, affectionately known as the 'king of furniture', has died aged 87-years-old.

He was known for selling baroque style furniture in his Footscray and Brunswick stores since 1956 and his energetic television commercials that made him a Melbourne icon.
