Better watch that hardwick prick when he gets the arse, getting young Rioli to live with his family.

He'll try to take him wherever he ends up
He really is a horrible person isn't he. Fancy the head coach helping some of the young talent adjust to the professional sporting environment.....

Get a grip Ox  :thumbsdown

So you'd be ok with Ox's scenario then?

So you rather the club didn't try put extra effort in to keep Rioli at the club and help him transition to AFL footballer?

I'd rather Rioli stayed with the club after hardwick goes .

There was no question.

Watched the game on replay after watching it live the other night. Elton played well as did first gamer Soldo. It was a great contest and many played well under massive pressure. First up, i cant stand the dogs but we need to learn from how they throw the ball constantly without getting caught by the umps. I still cant come to terms with perfect tackles not being rewarded tackle after tackle :banghead Tough decision on who gets dropped when big Nak comes back in. Can Nak play mainly forward and let Soldo ruck or Nak back in the center and have Elton play that second ruck role? A genuine lead up forward would also help. Cant wait until Sunday...Go Tigers!

Yeah throwball is going great guns, Crows are another specialist.  They are right on us though JR got nailed for one against the crows that was shown to be correct on replay which made me laugh after how many they had ignored all night.  Was part of the script obviously.

I propose a new chant for whenever we play Footscray ..

Are you Footscray or are you Canterbury?
Which Bulldogs are you?
Because the way you pass the ball we can't stuffing tell,
If you're playing Aussie Rules or playing NRL....

Not beating sides better than you is a sign not much has changed at the football club, so let's see how they go next time. I'm expecting much of the same finishing with a choke in September.

This side needs a lot of work.

I would have thought that beating a side that is better than you would be extremely difficult for the simple fact that they are better than you! Having said that, they were competitive and just needed a fit Prestia in the side and they probably would have won. At least they are playing a better brand of footy than the poo they dished up last year (or 3).

Let's face the facts. Nobody expected us to be where we are currently so we have exceeded expectations so far. What I want us to do is introduce/blood a couple more youngsters this year. Bolton and Garthwaite are the two that are available as Stengle needs to be elevated.

i'm sure the hawks agree with this as we streamrolled them on the way to 2 flags was it?

Never said they aren't playing better, a blind man can see that. Compared to last year, its nice to watch. What i am saying is this is all meaningless to me personally unless they prove themselves in September.

To get their you need to win, but only until they perform then will i start tapping dimwit, peggy and co on the back.

I'll bite.

No, absolutely not. But when did Hardwick go from being a substandard strategic coach to a vindictive Richmond hater?

I get that people feel he has tremendous deficiencies as a coach (outside development capacities which I still feel he's excellent at) but that's a pretty unfair to call to make IMO.
