Genuinely surprised he wanted to stay and didn't request a trade

I really cannot see him playing much AFL at all

Not in the best 22, so many ahead of him now; especially Townsend

Reckon he will star in the VFL as he should  ;D

I'd expect him to win the JJ Liston
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

Looking at his stats for 2017 I feel for him. He improved or maintained his level in every category and played less... Needs to improve again to get games.

He's training in a mid role. Not sure if that improves his chances or not compared to getting a game up forward.

Handy back up but not best 22

Maybe he thought Riolis injury would keep him out for the long term

Not in goals kicked and his forward pressure needs to be compared to the 3 amigos as opposed to his previous years to assess his overall game

Will forever be immortalised for his goal after the siren in what was a horrible year. His goal sense is phenomenal and I admire him working very hard to get fitter every year
Unfortunately he has been eclipsed by players with greater talent. But having him is great because hypothetically if Butler or Castagna gets the CBFs we have the choice of Lloyd, Stengle or Bolton or even Higgins to step in. As already mentioned his experience should translate to JJ Liston Contention

Yeah, have to agree with ya.
As much as I don't like it, he's gone.
UNLESS he was able to show that he can almost double his work rate and goal kicking input for the team, maybe a chance.
The third quarter, the premiership quarter, it's Dusty time. He starts to shine and then delivers in the most AWESOME fashion.

Put pressure on the guys in the 1's and if needed, he comes in and does a solid job.
And you may not think I care for you

Why is that relevant and does that mean they can’t have an opinion

Nick Bollettieri couldn’t play tennis, but reckon he knew who could and couldn’t

My expectations for Lloyd, zero. With the caveat that he has a better chance than me to perform better than that for Richmond
