You just prove you have a severe case of Brandon Ellis Derangement Syndrome by saying he was 'ok at best'. This coming from the guy who pumps up (and at times, rightfully so) Jason Castagna who averages around 5 effective disposals per game.

150 odd games of AFL footy. Gee. Horrible effort by a 25 year old.

Ellis was good... this is the standard moving forward should he be good enough.

5. THE BOOKENDS

A total team effort from the Tigers. But when the game needed to be won, and saved, it was Tommy Lynch and Dylan Grimes who stood tallest. Lynch stayed close to home all night, his first seven disposals were all scores and he killed the game in the final quarter with several goals. Grimes might be the most respected player at the Tigers and for the past two years the Tigers have urged All-Australian selectors to consider him for a defensive position. And they won’t let up. Grimes was enormous against Port Adelaide on Saturday night. He took five contested, intercept marks — four of them in the final quarter. More games like that one and AA is not beyond him.

Kmac & Lynch copped fines from the MRO:

- Kamdyn McIntosh fined $1000 for a dangerous tackle on Ollie Wines.
- Tom Lynch ($1500), Dan Houston ($1000) and Dougal Howard ($1000) fined for their parts in a melee during Port Adelaide's clash with Richmond.

What did they want lynch to do with 3 guys roughing him up?

Sick call from the ump paying a 50 against him for that too  ::)

It was strange that it was an obvious strategy to physically target Lynch.
There were about four or five examples of multiple opponents attacking him.

Like to see the club make comment about this EVERY time it happens, especially when we win.
I understand that it is hard for Hardwick to hold more than one thought in his head at a time but Balme should stress to him that when you win is the best time to complain.

Wallace said our win was one of those only once in a decade against the odds wins.

He gave us a rare albatross in his 'footy golf' rankings for this week.

There's a lot of good players in our team even without the BIG 4 and Port Adelaide aren't world beaters.
Not sure it was that unexpected like 1 in a 1000

I like George because he has a crack and works hard.
We all know he is limited and that’s why he was a rookie, but at least we all know he will give his all. I don’t think anyone can deny that.
It’s a shame I cannot say that about Bellis.

Anyway let’s hope they both play well this week and we get another win.

Bellis had a cracking game on the weekend...... he just needs to back it up.

Edwards deserves enormous praise for his game. Played a real captain's game.

So last week while undermanned we beat the team on their home deck that has just flogged the premiers away.
