Anyone give us a chance against Port at Footy Park?
« on: May 16, 2004, 07:42:41 PM »
Port got thumped today by 92 points by the Roos and are missing a number of players through injury - Primus, Francou, Carr, Pickett and a couple of others. At the moment there midfield is pretty light on and inexperienced and their backline was very slow and suspect today. On the other hand we haven't bet them since 1998 and never over there and will still be missing Cambo and Cogs ourselves.

Anyone give us a chance to make it 4 on the trot?

geez how i would love to beat port!! its been so long i cant even remember when we last beat them.

unfortunately i feel this thumping they got from the kangaroos may make it all the bit harder to finally get a win over the power

I'll say we won't win so I can get pleasantly surprised if we do.

If ever we are going to beat them over there, this is probably our best chance so far.

For the last 3 weeks when I have been asked by people if I think the Tigers are going to win - I have said "NOPE"

Ox has said for the last 3 weeks the Tigers would win and has been correct.

Ox has already predicted the Tigers to win so .......

So if I am asked this week - my reply will be "NOPE"

I reckon it is important not break a winning formula:

I find it hard to see us winning. I mean, Wanga's most likely to get his 300th up, they will want a win badly..

We can win but the possiblity is thin.

Im never confident of winning, but if we're ever going to give it a shake at FP then its this week.
As long as the defence can hold the Burgoynes and Tredrea and minimise Cornes influence from CHB we are a chance.

PS  Is the Wanganeen 300 Over the top? Its not his 300th AFL game its his all up (wiz cup state games ect) 300 th which  has less significance.
Drink,Drugs and Shagging models.
The rest l just wasted.

Port Adelaide will rock punt road down to its foundations this week, especially after what the kangas did to them
