Hopefully a rare positive today is we got through unscathed.
Fire away with your changes?
-
Don't think we have enough on the list that are fit enough to cover the changes I'd make ;D
-
depends if Essendon win or lose …
if they lose:
IN: Vlastuin, Prestia, CCJ
OUT: Astbury, Pickett, Chol
if they win:
IN: RCD, Dow, CCJ, Miller
OUT: Cotchin, Edwards, Riewoldt, Astbury
-
OUTS:
Lynch - unacceptable effort up forward non leads and dropped marks aren’t what your recruited for.
Castagna - why why why is he still playing seniors :facepalm
INS:
Some youngsters I suppose.
-
Pretty simple, need to win all 4. So play your best team and try and get them.

3 might be enough the way results are going , as long as we beat freo and GWS
But agree , pick to win .. season isn’t over until it is
-
Season still alive by default
Giants just defeated the Bombers
-
Broad is flying with the squad to Perth thinks he can play but Dimma said he's a "slight" chance.
Prestia & Vlastuin are at least another week away by the sound of it.
-
Gee have Prestia and Vlastuin had broken legs or something...
-
INS: Prestia, RCD, CCJ
OUTS: Aarts, Castagna, Chol

Wracked by injuries, the Tigers will have Dion Prestia back for next week’s clash with Fremantle and hope to have Nathan Broad and Nick Vlastuin in to bolster a young and undermanned defence.

Richmond, which is set to fly to Western Australia on Sunday evening and spend the week in quarantine ahead of next weekend's clash, is hopeful midfielder Dion Prestia will return from a hamstring injury for the Fremantle match.
But there are question marks over whether defender Nathan Broad will feature following a syndesmosis injury, despite the triple-premiership player making the trip to Western Australia.
"Dion played half a scrimmage match today, so he'll be available," Hardwick said.
"Nathan will head over, but he hasn't trained at this stage. He's moving pretty well, but I'd say he's a slight chance to play. Once again, we'll make that assessment during the week but he's going to give himself every chance I would feel.
"He's been very diligent in his rehab, so he'll put his hand up. I've got no doubt."

I would be playing Cotchin off half back for the remainder of the year of not his career. Give the kids a cool head back there.
We should beat the Dockers with Fyfe & Walters out.
-
Bit of a dilemma coming up if Broad and Vlastuin do play. What is wrong with Ben Miller by the way, Garthwaite while a competitor is not the answer as a kpp.
Hmm Mansell, Stack, Rioli, Cotchin as some one suggested Short Broad and Vlastuin along with Grimes and Astbury and either Garthwaite/Miller
just doesnt go.
Me thinks a bit of shuffling and a few outs is on the cards.
Ins: Vlastuin - Broad - Miller - CC-J - Prestia - RC-D
Out: Short - Castagna - Garthwaite - Aarts - Chol - Baker/Ross
Im looking for bigger bodies to a degree so probably Baker gets a rest. I think both him and Short have escaped plenty this season.
-
Miller is injured (groin) not sure if he played on the weekend
-
We really need some bigger bodies in the team just brushed aside too often and they walked thru tackles that set up plenty for them.
If Broad and Vlastuin are right then im Moving Rioli to a wing Keeping Mansell back and Playing Stack from the bench as the seventh defender or fwd or even thru midfield rotations.
Im playing Miller instead of Garthwaite just need the bigger body imoJust found out hes not fit.
Prestia is so badly needed we cannot afford to keep getting belted with contested ball and clearances.
Bringing in CC-J instead of Chol surely they have seen enough by now.
We desperately need another big body inside RC-D or Martyn please.
Chose to keep the bigger Ross over Baker as i think Baker has been pretty ordinary a lot this year.Want Ross played in an inside role as well.
B: Grimes - Astbury - Vlastuin
HB: Mansell - Garthwaite - Broad.
C: Lambert - RC-D - Rioli
R: Nankervis - Cotchin - Prestia
HF: Parker - Lynch - Edwards
F: Bolton - Riewoldt - CC-J
Int: Graham - Stack - Pickett - Ross/Baker.
-
Miller is injured (groin) not sure if he played on the weekend
Ah cheers if he is injured Garthwaite will have to play
-
With Fyfe and Walters out for Freo, tempted to bring back Prestia and Broad together, with Prestia on limited game time. RCD as the sub. Not sure who misses out, probably Garth and Parker.
-
Baker is a real competitor when the iron is hot. I disagree with dropping him, we need competitors which Garthwaite isn't enough of yet if he ever will be.

In the Mix: Round 20

There's a welcome reinforcement on the way in the form of Dion Prestia (hamstring), while Nathan Broad (ankle) is an outside chance to return after surgery on his syndesmosis joint. Jack Ross could be the one to make way for Prestia, but some juggling would be required to fill the wing role, with maybe Jason Castagna or Liam Baker options.
Verdict: Prestia for Ross, while Ryan Garthwaite could make way if Broad is available.

Team Tips:
In his return from a two-game absence, Shane Edwards hurt his ankle during Richmond’s 38-point loss to Geelong but returned later in the contest.
The Tigers otherwise got through the match unscathed but could look to make changes to a team that was badly beaten with several players down on form.
Hugo Ralphsmith and Riley Collier-Dawkins would likely be at the front of the queue if Damien Hardwick swings the axe.
Of the wounded Tigers, Kamyn McIntosh (hamstring), Nick Vlaustin (knee/quad) and Dion Prestia (hamstring) aren’t far off returning but may yet be another week away.
