Thats a start :clapping :clapping :clapping
-
Good to see the players they have announced are those with no trade value. :clapping
-
No surprises in that list of 3 rookies
-
A bit of a surprise not to see Troy Taylor's name in that list of delistees.

I know it's highly unlikely but he can still be traded :cheers
If Taylor says he wants to go to say GWS or Port then we should hold him until the last minute and try and trade him for pick 150 ;D

Well given the generosity of the GWS compo picks so far this year we might get a 1st round pick for him :lol.

Sounds like Neil Craig can pick his own team. :thumbsup
-
What about Newitt and Clarke, are they walking or being pushed?
-

Couldn't agree more. What possible reason could the club have for holding off on delisting Troy?
Surely they are not still holding out for him coming back to the Tigerland...

I like the way you think God :bow

Settle down Al, it could take him a while to make somthing up :lol
-
New faces, new voices, new ideas ... cant hurt to make some minor changes to the non core assistants.

I always said putting Hislop on the rookie list was a waste of time, and didn't rate Hicks or Westoff given that they hardly got a game in 2010 and Hardwick was playing everyone to see if they could play.
Hicks was always too small and competing against Nahas and Pushup. He had to show a lot of promise to keep.

...and your point is, Jackstar?
Well , obviously neither up to the task.
Who hired them ? Craig Cameron ???

You're assuming they've given the flick
Who said they've been given the flick ;)
Shouldn't make assumptions

flicked
They have spoken to replacements already this week ;)

come on wp, u know that jackstar knows everything, he knew 3 yrs ago that lyopn woul dleave the saintrs and harvey get sacked from freo,
he even knows what color undies u wear
-
WP wears pick undies for those who didn't know. he also wears pink ones ;D
-
So are we now going to bring in 4 new development coaches given Cameron said at the fan forum we were going to bring in two more? Just replacing the two we already had isn't expanding the number of development coaches.
-

I just spent 5 minutes on Google trying to find out what "pick" undies are.
Bloody typos.
:cheers
-
I like the new you. :)
:cheers
-
My point is why put on coaches in the past 2 years then move them on?
-
And Cameron employed them ?? A bit of spin here?
-
perhaps they've been reading your posts on here and are freeing up finances to bring the great jackstar back to the club.
I'm sure they miss your rabble rousing and constant negativity you promote.
-
Lol.am off to Freo :lol
-
And Cameron employed them ?? A bit of spin here?
Can tell you one wasn't flicked so get over it ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;)
And BTW are you that naive or stupid to think that Hardwick doesn't have some say in the members of the coaching staff that are hired ::)
-

Seriously, I'd be more concerned if they kept the team the same for more than 2 years. ::)
The game has changed so much in that short space of time that the people that were right 2 years ago may not be right now. It is part of the deal that assistant coaches are moved on regularly so that clubs can raid other clubs IP.
Get with the program and stop trying to finger CC when they are doing precisely what they should be doing.

Well that one's sorted then. I'll take the second sentence in the context of the first.

I turned the signatures and avatars off to get OER to load quicker.
Makes it easier to read posts if you are not distracted by overly long signatures.
And some of the avatars are just a little disturbing.
:lol

the year was 1965 when God created the Earth and he saw that was good, except he felt he needed to include an ignore button for those rowdy moments when things get a little out of hand. ;)

This God does not use the Ignore function.

Newett was named Coburg coach in August 2009, after being let go by North as their Development Coach.
In 2010 he took on the full time Development role with Richmond and Adam Potter was made Coburg coach.
At the same time Tim Clarke was made a Development Coach after playing for Coburg in 2009.
Would think Cameron made the decision to employ them all.
Doubt hardwick knew anything about any of these guys before they were employed.
BTW Jackstar didn't say that Hardwick didn't have any say in the decision. You verballed him. He said Cameron employed them. He's correct.
IMO Hardwick would have a veto over coaching appointments but unless he knows the guy he wouldn't use it.
In the same way if Hardwick heard good reports from anyone he would put forward a name for consideration.
Think Hardwick is too busy doing his own job and supervising HIS assistants to worry to much about hunting up Development coaches.
-
i would have thought Hardwick, or any coach of any club for that matter, would have a fair say in appointments such as these.
Surely he would interview, or at least have a chat, to make sure they were all on the same wavelength? To not do so would be madness.
I just cant see cameron being in some sort of dictatorship role where he solely hires, fires and makes important football decisions himself

Agreed that Hardwick would have a fair say (I phrased it as a veto power).
Think any senior coach would, like recruitment decisions, put forward a wish list for the type of Development coach he wants but not the individual.
In the case of Newett he was employed before Hardwick came to the club.

As I metioned the other week one of the development coaches wasn't given the "flick" as quoted by someone else ;D
Confirmed on BF by Mr RFC_O:
"I'm not sure on the specifics with Dave, but Tim has moved to the US with his wife so he was always going to leave us, we wish them both all the best.
