Richmond small forward Jake King is likely to miss the next 8-10 weeks of football through injury.

King requires a further procedure on a troublesome toe, which has plagued him since late last year....

.... King has been placed on the long term injury list, opening up the possibility of the Club elevating one of its rookies to the senior list

I can see for miles and miles.....but can the club?

We could really do with Banfumbles pace and goal sense as well, if not so much his current skill level.....

Something like this had to happen. At the end of the ten weeks someone will retire and remove a difficult decision.

Surely we can do miles better than pick up ban field?

Does this mean his contract extension thing is gone?

Along with Jake next year.

Been a good servant of the club

Time to go and find a new career.

You must reward performance >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>positional need. Standards need to be set immediately!

Miles has been a standout week after week in the VFL.  The club must reward him.  Elevating Banfield sends the wrong message.

I don't care if he is a crumbing forward.

But Jack everyone's being going about our culture and being sick of players getting gifted games.

You promote Banfield then you are rewording (gifting) a player a position on the senior list. That is exactly what you and others have been is saying it shouldn't be like that.

Can't have it both ways

Simply, Banfield's form doesn't warrant him promotion to the senior list. Miles form does.

I agree with YBB, if it is to based solely on form then it's Miles. If we want to continue rewarding mediocre effort & form then Banfiield is the perfect option

Think Morris could be used as a defensive forward. He turns over the ball at times, reminds me a bit of Jake King when he was in the backline earlier in his career. Was a good blanket small defender but turned it over for fun.

Morris is a good mark, would provide brilliant forward pressure and be able to shut down a rebounding defender like a Heath Shaw, Birchall type quite well IMO. Also isn't a bad shot for goal.

It doesn't matter. There is a right way to do things, the wrong way and the RFC way which is totally baffling and then you wish you did the wrong thing as you'd have been better off. ;D

For what it's worth I pick Miles but ad I said this is RFC and anything can happen.

If Jake, before he retires at the end of the year could do the right thing and ask Damien Hardwick for his resignation it would be greatly appreciated .
