Title: What do you wear to the footy?
Post by: one-eyed on November 07, 2007, 10:24:16 AM
Saw on a opposition club's forum they were talking about at what age do you stop wearing a footy jumper to the footy. They came up with 32 lol.

So what do you ppl wear to the footy? Are you full on Y&B from head-to-toe or are you more modest?

Its all part of the deal - have a bit of fun - Big fn deal if you wear a jumper til ur 100.
Probably find the people that criticise it the most have the issues and not the other way around.

So as you may deduce from above I am the YELLOW AND BLACK head to toe.
Put it this way - I kinda stand out in the crowd (even tho I am sorta shyish) - lol

I'm around that age, and I still wear my jumper to the footy.
It was a tough tram ride home after the Geelong game wearing that jumper let me tell you!

Anything that Yellow and Black. I have one of those black jackets with the yellow leather sleeves which is a particular favourite of mine. Mainly cause its warm. I wear a richmond cap and a scarf as well. Love cold days or nights at the footy but no rain please. Haven't owned a jumper since I was a kid.

Richmond t-shirt, scarf and cap to the footy for me with jeans and runners. For some reason I never had a jumper but had the duffle-coat instead when I was kid.

A Black Tiger T with the team logo on it
or a white Tiger Tee from when Nike were the kit sponsors during the Frawley era.
Pair of jeans
and a Richmond Tracksuit jacket either the lotto one from 1998
or last year I wore the Reebok one. Always bring my scarf as well and depending
how cold it is I may wear my Tiger jumper with 3 Duncan Kellaway on the back.
