Barrett on the AFL website:
Are 'problem' Tigers being punished?
"The long running Broadway stage show that is the Richmond Tigers is about to go off Broadway. ... I do wonder if the toll of being Richmond impacted in these [Sunday fixture] decisions. No one will be admitting this publicly or strongly but this club has caused more than a few problems for the entire competition. There was last year's hub issue; there was the kebab moment in Surfers Paradise; there was this year's brawl in a nightclub and not just the brawl itself but the public narrative out of it; there were complaints publicly about being forced to play in this [Marvel] stadium - the AFL industry owned stadium. They've had their moments the Richmond Tigers and now they've got some Sunday matches to deal with."

It’s a positive
Gives the injured tigers an extra couple of days to get up
-
It’s seen by a punishment by the clubs because we have complained too often
-
At least playing on Sundays is a regular 7 day break! I'd prefer that to the 6 day breaks we keep getting! ::)
