I heard via an interview with John Quinn on SEN that he will be our new fitness man. I belive John Quinn is currently with the Bombers and has a good reputation in bringing up the players fitness levels.
-
Good to see will be Dimma is changing the whole environment around.
Assistants, Fitness, List, Attitude.
Anyone will do a better job than the mob we've had for the last few years. I can't remember a real four quarter effort from us for a while where we never ever looked threatened to be overrun at any stage in a game.
-
I heard the same interview, but I don't think it was confirmed??
-
would be good, the whole bloody place needs to be turned upside down in the footy department...as I mentioned earlier...any of the existing assistants would need to make extraordinary claims to remain on board and I mean ALL of them. If hardwick wants all of his asistants to be completely on board with his party line then he should be given FULL support to establish that from the outset

Yes he did.
Essendon Football Club today announced that high performance manager, John Quinn, has decided to pursue other career opportunities.
"John feels the time is right to look at other opportunities and we understand and accept that," Essendon chief operating officer Travis Auld said.

Was John Quinn the fitness adviser for Essendon last year when they went down with all those soft tissue injuries?

i think he left there last year in July, thats what the Bomber website says
Not sure what has has done this year or where he was working.

Correct but that was as much to do with the change of game plan from Knighter to a higher tempo than the players were used to previously that really stretched their capacity.
-
sorted the players from the passengers & now they are playing finals ;D good aint it

It's a friggin' disgrace. I reckon through all our years of ninth, every year we have missed out with a better record than the Dons have this year. :banghead
