The VFL Draw for 2005 is now out and Coburg have 2 games at Punt Road again.
After what I thought was pretty dissappointing attendances last year it is good to see that in 05 the games will be played at 11:00 am - With the tigers playing at the G later on.
Should draw good crowd's - it would be great to see Punt Road packed with feral Richmond supporters again :cheers
The 2 games are Sat 7 May 11:00 am against Northern Blueants - with carlton to follow at the G at 2:00
Sat 9 July 11:00 am against Williamswood - followed by essendon at the G at 2:00

Also don't forget that you get a Coburg M'ship in 2005 with your RFC membership :thumbsup

I believe this will be on Friday morning the 18th before our Wizz Cup game. So I guess those who don't make the Wiz cup squad and are not out injured will play then.
In other Coburg news, former Sandy player Anthony Allen is the new assistant coach of Coburg under David Flood link (http://coburgtigers.goal.com.au/default.aspx?pg=news&spg=display&articleid=31723).

Coburg practice match schedule updated:
Friday 18th February Williamstown Edwin stuff Oval 12noon
I had to look up where that is MT. :-[
The oval at the Lexus Centre.
So it would be easy to remember and appropriate for Collingwood, I still reckon the whole complex should have been named after that famous olympic swimmer Lorraine Crapp.

LOL FF ;D
IIRC that's the oval Eddie wanted called "Pies sponsors #1 #2 #3..... Bob Rose oval" but either the city council or some trust knocked it on the head. I wonder if he will still gloat about Collingwood's traditions on TFS now they have totally abandoned Vic Park. Then again I wonder what old Tigers would think about us playing trial games at the ex-home of the enemy.
