There I was driving home this evening with one of my doggies in the back after a leisurely day at the baseball listening to "living in the 70's" on Gold104 when a song I haven't heard for at least 25 years starts playing.
I start singing (badly) fortunately the dog doesn't start howling but I know she thought I was nuts................
The band PAPER LACE the song..... anyone care to guess?
Paper Lace only ever had 2 hit songs in the early 70's. One got a mention on the soundtrack to "Priscella Queen of the Dessert" and there is the one I heard tonight.
Try and guess 'em both
PS: I am still humming the song as I type this :rollin

Hope you had the windows up. ;D

Well that's one of Paper Lace's hits - that was the easy one.... but that wasn't the one they played last night
Keep guessing ;D
Hope you had the windows up. ;D
Not exactly FF - had to have one window down for the Dog to get some fresh air ;)

I watched "Love Actually" the other night and they had a Bay City Roller's song on it. Used to love the Bay City Rollers - especially Eric.

Can you have a greatest hits album of a couple of songs?! ;D.
Speaking of pseudo one-hit wonders. Which 80's song are The Buggles famous for? A cover was done of it in the 90's for a Adam Sandler movie.
-
Whats even sadder I know the song word for word.
Billy went to fight at war and never came back :'(
