Title: B-Grade actors
Post by: tiga on February 13, 2005, 10:56:22 PM
Just thinking of a list of actors who personify B-Grade movies.
These are people that you see listed on a DVD cover which make you put it back now matter how promising the story line.

He are a few I have come up with

Brian Dennehy - The grand Daddy as far as I'm concerned.  ;D
Jane Seymour
Nancy McKeown
Melissa Gilbert
Susan Luci

Well Done Julz! I completely forgot about Van damne and Segal.

You have now jogged my memory of another classic....Dolf Lundgren!  :lol

I remember on the ABC's "Late Show" they had a movie review segment of the worst movies of all time and their rating system wasn't stars but Dolf's! One night they had a very low budget aussie movie called "Houseboat Horror" Starring of all people Gavin Wood and Brian Mannix with the uncanny X men. One of Gavin's classic lines in the movie was when he got up on top of the boat to look around. "Guy's, Girl's..Come on up and look at the view....You'll bar up!" ROFLMAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO  :rollin

Gavin made an attempt at theatre once and appeared with my dad in the show.  As an actor, he makes a great Tattslotto caller lol.  But he was a very nice man, and he and my dad became great mates.

Hey, Peter North's a legend.  :bow

Vin Diesel would have to take the cake.

Keanau Reeves is another (he redeemed himself a bit in the matrix however)

Tony Danza and Scott Baio are 2 more that come to mind.

ROFLFMAOOO@Keanu

Point Break and The Matrix would have been so much better if they picked a decent main actor.

lmfaooo@Tony Danza. Was i just dreaming it or did I hear that he was going to star in Tarantino's next film?

lmfaoooo@Tarantino taking washed up actors and rejuvinating them: David Carradine, Tony Danza, John Travolta.

lmfaooo@Scott Baio. Speaking of sitcom tossers, how can we look beyond Joey Lawrence and Cody from Step by Step.

After that woeful AFL inter-actvie commercial, coupled with his pathetic diving exploits etc....

the top candidate for the B-Grade Actor list has to be:

MATTHEW LLOYD

Here's one the guys might not agree with but if you ever saw the series VIP you'd have to give the gong for the worst acting to Pamela Anderson.  Big breasts and lots of blonde hair doesn't make you a good actress sweetie.

You guys are a crackup - Half of those people at the start I haven't even heard of.

Funny I was out for a walk this arvo, you know how strange things from many moons ago just seem to pop into your head.

This first one went POP out of nowhere then I thought of this thread. So here it is

She Was (pause) Demented - More of a B grade movies moving onto here instead of actors. Does anyone remember that movie.
All I really remember is that line - It was about some Physco women and SHE WAS --------- DEMENTED.

And what about Basketcase - (What is that you have in the basket - Ohh that is my brother) about some physcopathic conjoined twin that sticks out of his brothers side.

ROFLFMAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO@Mickey Rourke.

The ultimate B-grade actor.

Watched this film with him the other day and instantly thought of this thread. The movie was called 'Barfly' by the way. About an alcoholic who boozes, gets into barfights and writes fiction in his "spare time".

lmfaoooooooooooo@being the king of softcore.
