I'd heard a few rumours that Rhys was being courted heavily by GWS - but these quotes from his manager would seem to suggest he is staying put.

Conca in Richmond talks

RICHMOND first-year young gun Reece Conca has launched contract negotiations expected to confirm his long term commitment to the Tigers rising under coach Damien Hardwick.
His talks on a new Tigers deal slams the door on any prospects Conca could be targeted by new AFL franchise Greater Western Sydney at the end of next season.
Conca plays this season and next year on a standard AFL contract for a draftee but has been linked as a possible recruit for the Giants if he didn’t have a Tigers deal beyond 2012.
Conca was plucked by the Tigers with their important first pick and number six overall at last year’s national draft.
His manager Colin Young confirmed that discussions are under way with the Tigers.
“We’ve probably been talking for around six weeks or so now and I would expect that somewhere in the next few weeks we might have a positive outcome to those negotiations,” Young told sportsnewsfirst.com.au.
“Reece has settled in very well at Richmond and into the AFL, as some good judges expected that he would.
“He showed enormous promise with Perth in the WAFL at league level last year as a young player and now Richmond is getting some benefit from his all-round talents.
“Reece is extremely comfortable with Richmond and the transition from his home town in Perth to Melbourne and he wants to be part of what is an emerging Richmond team in the coming seasons.”
Young would not disclose just how long Conca might commit to the Tigers beyond next season, but it is understood to possibly be until at least the end of 2014.

If Reece does re-sign till 2014 then GWS won't be able to go near him :thumbsup.

Conca is starting to show signs in recent weeks of tiring a bit which is not unexpected for a first year player whose played every game. However he's shown so far he was worthy to be pick 6. Normally young players only get two year deals but a 3-year deal would be reasonable given what Reece has shown in his debut year.

And I really really hope he does re-sign. Will be elite in 3 years (or even less) time.
