Homer: Is it true you priest guys can't ever... you know?
Father Sean: I'll admit the vow of celibacy is one of our sterner challenges.
Homer: Celibacy I was talking about the meat on Friday thing. Man you guys got more crazy rules than Blockbuster Video.

Main negative from today was the fact that, yet again, the club pumped up the home game against Carlton, went on and on about needing the "19th man", the "Tiger Army" and all the rest, and true to form of the last few years, the players delivered an insipid, pee-weak performance. Even more insulting was the fact that they had the audacity to demand money from the fans that went to the game. Memo for next time Richmond: Tell the players before you promote a game. They might actually turn up as well you know.

Can the marketing team please just lick envelopes for the rest of year.
Either that, or start working on the plan for the clearance sale of all of the unsold 2011 merch. Thanks.
-
Clearly didn't work anyway. For all that hype we had more at the Melb game.
-
The whole game and yes we have the worst ruck combination in the comp :banghead

Or at the very least, put some price tags on the stuff in the Tiger Superstore!

Insipido Domingo
Newman can look forward to playing finals with Fev at Narre Warren at the end of his career!!!!!!
-
Hmm, I can't put my finger on it but stuff didn't go our way today.
-
very few positives
-
On top of the thrashing and our insipid performance, particularly in the second half, we were on the end of some spiteful umpiring. One of the umps was making a special effort of making an example Cotchin at every opportunity. Apparently the umpires not only administer the rules of the game they can make up the rules as they go along and avenge their hurt EGOS upon the players also without answering to anyone.
-
Carlton supporters behind me were even questioning decisions that went against us eg holding the ball decision in front of goal that carlton got a free kick for. A cowardly decision.

you are kidding right.
I sit here on here week after week and listen how umpiring decisions went against us. Hey i was there and from where i was sitting there were some decisions that went against them too.
Even the decision against newy last week was not clear cut.
Facts are we lost and it had absolutely zero zip to do with any umpiring vendetta against the RFC.
-
Daniel I am not saying that we lost the game due to the umpires. Far from it. We lost the game for a multitude of reasons. The umpires had no effect on the outcome whatsoever. What I am saying is that there were some average umpiring decisions yesterday. The fact that opposition supporters acknowledged that is a statement in itself.
-
Argue with Malcom Blight Daniel.

List of negatives from the game yesterday
No centre clearance pressure
No willingness to tackle
Bounced off tackles.
No willingness to run
Stop start play
indecision
inability to hit targets
crumbling under pressure
Having a succumb mentality
Playing like junior footballers
No Rucks
No self belief
A willingness to accept defeat
No fight
unworkable matchups
No leadership
Letting a professional game of football turn into circus
An unwillingness to match or better the energy of the opposition.
allowing a situation to turn into a disaster.

Anyone prepared to move from the denial/anger stages into depression?
I bypassed anger and went straight for Rage :help I feel depression setting in now everything is broken :whistle :whistle
-
Daniel pushes me into anger phase briefly every now and then, but as I can't snot him one online it moves quickly into the depression / frustration, I byass the bargaining because you cannot argue / reason with an idiot and we end up at acceptance. Ahhh serenity.

The biggest negative for me was that somebody didn't clean up Jarrad Waite. He was still up to his old tricks, throwing his feet around into Browne's kidneys. Granted a bit higher up than where he copped McGuane last time. God I wish we had a Neil Balme, or Robbie McGhie type who would just flatten him so hard, he'd wake up in the Epworth sucking his meals through a straw.

McGuane would have been perfect to play that role.
We need to get dirty on that weak chip off the old block. Can't let that little scum take out some sort of pathetic revenge on RFC players based on the fact that his old man was a weak pathetic man and got his just deserts from blokes like Ricky McLean, Robbie McGhie and Neil Balme.

First time ever I have turned the Tele off at 3 quarter time. :banghead And only just now have I come out of my stuff and made my first post since Saturday's sham.
For me there was one positive out of that game. I made the best scones ever for Saturday arvo tea! Its amazing how well you can knead dough when you are so full of anger!
