Champion Data this week in their fantasy footy email put out a list of how many debutants each club has had this year. We were equal second least with 3 :-\ although it doesn't seem they are counting those with previous AFL experience such as Brad Miller.
Gold Coast 28
Brisbane 10
Bulldogs 9
St Kilda 8
Melbourne 6
Adelaide 5
Carlton 5
Geelong 5
North Melb. 5
Sydney 5
Fremantle 4
Hawthorn 4
Port Adelaide 4
Essendon 3
Richmond 3 ....( Conca, Batchelor, Helbig )
West Coast 3
Collingwood 2

At the start of the season we only had 5 players that had not played a senior game (not counting rookies) as all draftees from last year got at least one game. While many other clubs would have had 2nd and perhaps third year players making debuts this year.
of those five, 2 have been crueled by injury so that leaves the three.

Cheers al. Thanks for doing that research.
So what we should do is look at the percentage of available débutantes instead of number. We're running at 100%. :thumbsup

Great point, it doesn't neceassarily make our side any younger or inexperienced than other sides with more debutants
