We could have no ruck and would still be better than brown has been!!
-
So our 1st rucks are so hopeless we are no longer going to bother even having one lol :-\. That'll leave TV with Post filling in up against Hille and Ryder :-\.

Hopefully not Griffiths out for Gus :-\

Reckon that sounds mighty likely, MT. They used Griffo to give BrownE a rest early last week till he got creamed. Cannot imagine what it would be like having Hille jump into your ribs or Ryder jump on your head with the odd bone rattling around in your chest.

I can see it happening. But I cant see Gus beating Ryder or Hille in the ruck either.

We rove to Bummers rucks...lots of hard ball gets.

Exactly Muscles. I can't see Griffiths being risked at centre bounces.

I reckon there will be a late change
Gus will play me thinks :'(
Better than playing blokes who are not right which we seem to be good at doing ;D

100 %
Tuck should just pnch Harwick in the face and walk out........
-
And Big Ben
He actually got a few nice hit outs to advantage last week before he got hurt.

I thought tuck may have got a guernsey this week until i read this answer from cameron.
He is still working on a number of areas that Damien has asked him to work on, but I am confident he will play seniors sooner rather than later. He is very determined and upbeat and has conducted himself in a professional manner. Shane is aware of what he needs to do to get a game, and is working dilligently on these areas.
At least he knows what he has to do and is working on it.
cant see tucky as being the sort of bloke to crack the poos and just give up, which is why we could do with him in the side
-
Why not play an extra midfielder in the centre instead of a ruck? Or go for a Hocking Peel thunder set up? ::)
-
At least he knows what he has to do and is working on it.
Tongue in cheek Al ? Club officials have been trotting out that line since Dimma arrived. It's comical now.
Can see it now , year 2028 , Tiges win the flag and Todd Menegola's grandson wins the Norm Smith. They interview mastercoach Jake Batchelor and he says..... " The only disappointing thing is Shane Tuck missing out but he knows what he has to do and he's working on it "

actually it wasnt tongue in cheek.
I heard that said early last year and 2-3 weeks later tuck was playing and played most of the year there after.
when he played he was off half back changing on the ball but i get a feeling he being taught another role. the only one i can think of is half forward and i'd be willing to bet that tuck takes hislops place in the near future - unless hislop actually starts getting his hands on the pill.

Another role ? He'll be a 103 bloody years old before he learns this one ;D
-
:lol
I think all plans with tuck are only short term.
-
Yep rove to the Bombers rucks as we did to Sandilands against Freo.
We beat them with them getting more contested possies seven weeks ago but I think we need to at least break even this time round.
Expect Gus to come in for Griff. At least it will free up Jack and Vix to roam free and stretch them down back.
-
Absolutely amazed Hislop is still getting a game. Tuck should have been brought in. Thanks for those posts Al

Agree about Hislop but as equally staggered Grigg keeps getting a game when he wont attack the footy
-
I am pretty dirty that Hislop gets a game before me so I can only imagine what Tuck feels like.
-

Exactly. At 23, Hislop isn't exactly a young, developing talent any more, and he's certainly NOT good enough to get a game in a top 8 side. If we're not going to play a "kid", we might as well use that spot in the team to play Tucky, who is actually one of our current best 22.

At 23, Tucky wasnt either!

a 100 point raping & yet Tuck still not in. l be walking out on the club Tucky

Yep Hislop is very very lucky. He's been utterly hopeless.
The line is obviously through Tucky's name. It was when Dimma arrived and tried to trade him. Tucky got games last year because we need a bigger body in there with the Dusty being a year older, Grigg brought in and Jacko still in the side, Tucky has been pushed out. Only one of Jacko and Tucky can play in the side at best and to be honest for us to improve they both need to be replaced.
-
No late changes to the side tonight
Hislop will be the sub
-
First time since I reckon about 1995 I will be missing a Richmond game at the MCG.
Missed a few at Telstra Dome but Tigers at the G has taken priority of everything.
Kinda ashamed I'm not there but I'm still dirty on last week. 6 pack, a pizza and the TV for me tonight.
Hope its a thriller and I regret not going. :gotigers
