Had a mate text me with a stat today, not sure how true it is but ....
"If the final quarters in all our games were 2 minutes shorter this year, we would have finished 6th."
So close yet so far!

We would have just stuffed it up earlier

Id like to use this opportunity to highlight the fact,
Dimma can't coach during the last 3 minutes of games.
NFI.
Had he implemented something.anything in the dying stages of any of these games,
we would have not lost them all.
BIg Deficiency.
Other coaches tear his ar sh ole in that time frame.

I think that the stats might show that similar things happened in the last few minutes of other quarters, too. It seemed to me that we were regularly giving up late goals.

I think you will find in those "2min" games - we copped a few injuries therefore the rotations where effected. Players were stuffed near the end of the game and had nothing left in the tank.
Game plan is not robust enough to cover injuries as yet - expect better next year if fitness and endurance improves

Interesting you say that...against GC and on weekend we were a player down majority of last quarter.

You may be correct here Ox but i also believe the players need to take some responsibilty here.

Well stuff me. That makes it alright to draw with Port at the G and to lose to Gold Coast. Give Dimma a box of tissues and they can take his place in the coaches box. Should have been up by at least 10 goals in both of those games. Absolute disgrace of a football club this year.
What is interesting is how many losses Hardwick can have at the start of next season before Mark Williams takes over as coach. Really should be jumping on Malthouse now.

They do but they're probably freaking the stuff out at their directives, when blind freddy can see the holes on the field
