Over here (with the wife) visiting the Robotics Engineer son.

His company has branches all over the world and he gets sent to this stinky poohole for 12 months.

Going up to Chiang Mai for a week tomorrow.

Will be nice to get away from the Russians down here.

but i do also travel there for business but hey itd not my fault they are beautiful friendly welcoming people lol

Spent a week in Bangkok. very interesting place but filthy and polluted as. Got the Tuk Tuk Ride from hell. Me and 9 mates decided to go across town to Pantip Plaza (geek heaven) and we decided to all take Tuk Tuk's. One of my crazy mates encouraged the Tuk Tuk drivers to race each other. My Tuk tuk decided that the best was to get there first was to drive directly and continuously between two lanes of oncoming traffic. It was like a scene from a James Bond movie. Got to Pantip in one piece, Shaken but not stirred.

Mind you it was always nice being able to retreat back to the Sheraton Royal Orchid.  :thumbsup
