I wonder after kicking 4 goals if as a surprise we might bring in Rory for Browny?

I suppose it's an option but although he kicked 4 goals it wasn't one of Rory better games. He is really lacking match fitness IMO. His seconds efforts and chasing let him down a few times. Sandy seemed to clear the ball out of the Burgers forward 50 very easily.

Interesting list for the bestplayers - I thought Andrew Raines was very very good - I think his dad Geoff was preety impressed too ;)

It was good to see Dean Polo play his first senior game for the Burgers :thumbsup Didn't get much game time but when he was on I noticed he goes into packs pretty hard. Needs to work on his disposal

I think Rory is probably short of a gallop, but I think there could be some merit in playing him back into Match Fitness in AFL instead of VFL.

He had a big impact on the Hawthorn game last year.  Kicked a few quick goals.

Hopefully he gets his chance.  When he is fit and going he is a good player and was one of the few to run the lines under Frawley and unlike Chaffey doesn't turn the ball over.

I was hoping Harts could get through this match and come back in the seniors next week but unfortunately he didn't play.

No Roar - Hartigan played. Off the bench maybe 5-10 minutes a quarter. Went OK. He ran freely but I think they took the cautious approach with him.  He certainly wasn't favouring his leg nor did he appear to be concerned about it. I think he needs another run at the Burgers. Big problem is though the Coburg seniors have a bye this week. Only the Burger reserves play this week

 :thumbsup

Sorry WP he wasn't listed on the team sheet I saw,  I hope they play him in the Coburg 2nds and don't take the risk of playing him for Richmond we need him fit & ready.
