INS: Maric
OUTS: Vickery
OH MY GLOB! VICKERY OUT FOR MARIC!
Why Miles isn't in is beyond me but it's a partial victory
-
Joe Daniher dropped by the Bombers.
In: Chapman, Winderlich, Howlett
Out: Aylett, Daniher, J Merrett.
-
Miles is being wasted... :banghead
-
woah!
-
Miles to come in in 6 weeks, have an average game then get put back on the rookie list the week after when whoever he replaced is fit again

They have gone for speed, Miles must come in if Jackson doesn't get up. Miles should of come in!!!
-
Ivan in
Vickery out
-
Couldn't be happier with Vickery for Maric. When the players told Hardwick to be more harsh on them, looked like it worked. Bloody stoked.
-
Big bad jake bachelor. :bow
-
Vickery's omission.
Good to finally see some consistency.
-
Miles in as a late change. Less pressure on the lad.
and Yes I did say it last week as well.
:lol
-
Glad didn't bring in Petterd.
-
Miles in as a late change. Less pressure on the lad.
Hope you're right '65. And I think you might be. :thumbsup
-

Yes, you can see a late change if Jackson doesn't come up.
Scary that it could be between Petterd and Miles.
-
and Grigg is still in :banghead
-
Bloody boomers have a good experienced side in. Can't see us winning and we are without Vloss and Asstbury too.
Those tossers have no injuries
-
Ivvy, :clapping
-
Well stuff me, Vickery did get dropped ahead of Griffiths after all..... genuinely surprised but happy....
and Grigg is still in :banghead
Guess two miracles in one week are too much to ask for.....doubt he'll ever be dropped under Hardwick - hell he even received 2 coaches votes last week.....guessing neither were from Leon Cameron.
-
hate him
-

They lost to the saints and struggled against the lions. They're not travelling well.
-
Grimes. ARance. Chaplin.
Mcdonuts. mDea. Houli
Conca. Martin. Ellis
Lennon. Griffiths. SEdwards.
Morris. Jack. Maric.
Hampson. Deledio. Cotchin.
Miles. Foley. Thomas. Jackson. Grigg
Looking more balanced. Chaplin and grigg the glaring weak points for mine

im going to go against the grain - Grigg deserves his spot, did a very good job on Ward last week. He also didn't get any credit for holding Selwood to about 6 touches against the cats in the 1st half 3 weeks ago. Lids did a good job in the 3rd and I think Jackson went onto him in the last. He's being asked to do a different role now and Ive noticed he's laid more tackles the past 3 weeks than he had the rest of the season. Don't ask me how he's doing it,(bc I cant explain it) but he's actually showing some decent signs as a run with player :huh3
-
Grigg deserves to be in the 22 ahead of miles?
I believe it to be poor form if in recent weeks we accommodate grigg and drop a dea. Mxdonuts lennon
-
pick someone else to drop, plenty to choose from
-
You didn't answer then question ...
IMO there is grigg is least valuable non kpp by a fair margin
-
I agree I wouldn't drop McDonough, lennon, Dea yet, give them an extended run to gain some confidence and continuity. Id put grigg in the same boat as Edwards, houli, Foley re smalls. and Jackson is obviously not fit so Miles can come in for him.

I agree Tony. I don't like Grigg much but to his credit he has been ok of late. I'd drop Houli before Grigg at the moment. And I don't rate McDonough. Not as a backman anyway.
-
Vickery wasn't horrible but someone had to come out.
-
I can't believe all this Grigg love :chuck. Grigg stinks it up every week with his lazy, soft, unaccountable attitude.
The sooner we get this softie out of the side and replace him with a hard nut like Miles or Arnott, the quicker we will improve.
Grigg -you are the weakest link. Goodbye.

All the verbal masterbation over grigg in recent weeks has indeed been sickening.

If there is a god, Miles will come in as a late change.

Experienced maybe ? Good ? No !
If we're any good at all we win this easily.

Hardwick was keeping his cards close to his chest — naming best-and-fairest winner Daniel Jackson last night.
The popular Tiger was reduced to jogging laps at Punt Rd yesterday and if Anthony Miles or Ricky Petterd don’t line up at that venue in tomorrow’s VFL encounter, Jackson could be on the late withdrawal sheet, too.
But don’t expect any doubts on star Tiger Ivan Maric.
The cult hero looked scary sharp on the track yesterday, training with the forwards and clunking every grab cleanly and booting goals.
After 160 minutes in two VFL matches he is ready to rock.

Albury probably have four of the top five in the league vote should it be held now. Polo and Hyde along with Mackie and O hara. Setanta starting to hit his straps too. Some ex afl players struggle to adjust to ovens and Murray but Hyde and polo didn't. Unfortunately I think that shows probably where they were at talent wise when at Richmond.

What time does the official team have to be announced or submitted?

What time does the official team have to be announced or submitted?
That is the official team. Any late changes will normally come within the hour of the start time.
A good indication will ge to see who of the emergencies is missing from the VFL this arvo.

Ok cheers, I thought we had one more final team announcement but that as you say will be the late changes.

Polo was one of the biggest spuds ever produced at punt rd.
Houli is a million times better.

Polo didn't squib but even if he was shyte

Agree with this TM. I'm not a huge fan of Grigg, nor are many, but it's obvious they are grooming him as a tagger / run with player. Controversial as he has a reasonably poor defensive game but he's surprised over the last few weeks. If he can improve in that area we may find ourselves a negating midfielder which was have missed ever since we gave Jackson freedom to be a ball player again.
-

True, but he rarely got near the ball to have chance to squib!

Same, Im not a grigg apologist and not a fan either tbh. but one thing Ive always believed in is a fair go. If he was dropped prior to the geelong game I would have :clapping but when a player starts showing signs of improvement, you must give them a chance. Edwards the same boat, was just as bad as Grigg the first 5-6 weeks, but since the geelong game he's become a contributor. If either of them drop off again then no dramas with dropping them, but not now when they're actually contributing.
-
People who bag Ellis for being a soft, useless stat whore now defending Grigg - that's some funny poo right there.
-
Bingo.
-
theres no such thing as a Grigg apologist......nothing needs to be explained ,its all there in full panorama for all to witness this fine exponent of all that is good in our game
