Title: 2006 = Schulz's breakout year?
Post by: Razorblade on August 22, 2005, 01:49:29 AM: I was so impressed from Schulz game today, despite his limited time on the ground and getting Kevin Nash/WWE-style kicked by Nixon, he was involved in a lot of play and was very impressive IMHO.

I think once he regains fitness and has another pre-season under his belt, he will prove the doubters wrong!

Post by: mightytiges on August 22, 2005, 04:18:15 AM: Gutsy effort to get back on the ground. Tough bugger as well. He got completely cleaned up and went down like a sack of spuds yet when the stretcher was brought out he said stuff that and stood up and with the help of trainers walked off.

Looks like his ankle is ok too as he still had his great leap when he went for the mark that brought the ball down for Pettifer to kick he winning goal. Keep him up forward in 2006 Terry :thumbsup.

But the times that he has been given a go, I reckon he’s shown that he’s a player you can get a lot out of, given the opportunity. What I’ve liked about his efforts, the few games he has played, is that he goes at a contest full on.

We at least got a couple of goals from his efforts yesterday and, even though he missed a couple of quarters, he made his presence felt when he was out there. That’s the sort of player you can work with, because he brings others into the game and creates opportunities for the team with his kamikaze style. He can only improve and get better, if he’s committed enough.

He obviously has potential, but he wouldn't be the first to fail to realise it.
