From Robbo's 'likes' column today.
4. The Tigers
The best win of the season by any club. On the road, six down at half-time and the Tigers triumph. Just 13 tackles in the first half and a whopping 18 in the final quarter shows how hungry the Tigers were in their runaway win against one of the flag favourites. In this form, the Tigers can win the premiership.

Everything would have to go right, but sure, why not. Our best appears good enough but would like to wait and see how we shape up against the Hawks first.

Browny on the Tiger Premiership bandwagon as well.
Former Richmond star Nathan Brown says the Tigers can win the premiership
3AW

Former Richmond star Nathan Brown says the Tigers are capable of winning the premiership.
Brown made the bold call on 3AW following Friday night's shock win over Sydney at the SCG.
"I think they can - with an asterisk," Brown said on Sports Today.
"If they have an injury to (Ivan) Maric or (Alex) Rance, I don't think they can get there.
"They have got a very, very soft draw from here – I think they can make top four.
"It's going to be hard, but I think they can make top four.
"They don't fear anyone. The only thing they fear is winning that first final.
"They don't fear Sydney, they don't fear Fremantle and they belted Hawthorn a couple of years ago."
But Browny was less than convincing when again pressed on the matter by Gerard Healy!
"I'm 98 per cent sure they can maybe win it," Brown said with a laugh.

Beat Freo in Perth
Beat Sydney in Sydney
Beating the Hawks in Tasmania would of been a very nice trifecta ;)

wouldn't rule it out ,,, watch this space :shh

I think you will find, the biggest hurdle RIchmond has is RIchmond.

Depends on which one turns up

I backed the Tiges at 41-1 and again at 31-1 to win the flag in March
That's after watching a NAB challenge game in Albury
Why ?
The game of football is about ball movement
It's how you play the game
How we played that day was stunning
I know Port had a lot of players out that day but our kicking was superb as we have witnessed many times over the past 6 weeks
Especially against Freo
-
I am an apologist but even I am not deluded enough to think we can win the flag.
-
Our best is good enough. We are no where near consistent enough at this stage.

you didn't think we could win last last week either, so please, continue :lol

That is correct, had we of beaten the Cats, Dogs, WCE and the Roos as we should have I would definitely say yes.
But if we can get the consistency sorted for the second half of the year then who knows. Yes on any given day we can win it, dependent on the side that rocks up on that day and that is our downfall at the moment.
-
The one thing that should give us hope is that we are one of the few clubs over the last 2 years that have strung together long streaks in terms of wins. You cant win a flag without having this ability. We have enough ability but I still feel we are 3 or 4 players short. I think we will finish 5th or 6th this year and if we get 2 really good players in the offseason we could win it all in 2016. :cheers

Of course we can win the flag
If our best half dozen n stay fit anything can happen
The problem is dima and the duds

The problem is the gap between our best and worst is too big.
-
That's right.
In other words, we don't have that consistency in depth that a hawthorn does
And as such would need a series of miracles to win a flag.
Suck my ballbag Robbo, u fair weathered dog.

Don't bother unless we are top 4.
Would love to pinch 4th from Hawthorn or Sydney and face Freo at Subi again. Would be a cracker with the self belief we have.
Dare to DREAM
-
Its unrealistic, to expect cotchin, rance etc. To play like gods every week.
They are good but its very hard do that season, and finals long.
The problem is the bottom six selected every week are not good enough. The good players cannot carry them to a flag.
-
Can win the flag
Need to finish top 4
-
Other team have another level or 2 at their best. We are playing at our best. We played freo and sydney when these teams were hardly playing good footy on the night.
-
Reckon we can improve a lot
Terrible first half the other night but hung in there
Reckon we have matured into a very very good team
Injuries will play a big part though

Please no they would absolutely destroy us in finals footy

Now Wallace reckons we're on the verge of a flag.
Oh dear....

What if they played poorly because we didn't let them let them play well? If we play poorly because opposition teams stop our game, we are poo!!!
-
A team needs experience in WINNING finals.

Setting us up for a big fall it would seem
Let's see... next Friday at the G, they are probably hoping :thumbsdown
